Would it change your option on trading Lauri if the offer from golden state was 2 first unprotected and maybe a swap or protected pick top 20 I think because that is the best they can offer right now they only have 2 first available to trade the third is tied up. Also the jazz arguably have to many swaps as is so I don’t think they value pick swaps as much as other teams.

They traded their 2030 first to WAS top 20 protected so they can’t trade the 2029 pick or 2031 pick as you can’t trade picks in consecutive years. So the only available unprotected first they can trade are 2026 and 2028 . Or 2025 and 2027.

The only reason why Jazz are considering trading Lauri is that they feel like they can't get high pick with him. They like him, he likes to live in Utah (he is Finn, he wouldn't talk so much liking Utah if he really didn't like it), he is all-star caliper player (first player out in his position this year and would have been one easily in east) and they don't have any problem of paying him since they are not paying anybody else at the moment. Truth is that Lauri is more valuable for Jazz than to anybody else (even if he fits pretty much anywhere) and that's why they need super big haul if anyone is gonna get him. Ainge said in the end of the season media that they need one or two players and then they are ready to go big game hunting and if they don't manage that before July then they might need to pivot. That has been the plan whole time. They tried to go after some players but didn't get them. Now we will see what does the "pivot" look like.

What people are not accounting for is that adding CP3 and Barnes will drastically decrease their turnovers. They lost around 15 games last year because they couldn't stop committing turnovers. These two will be steady hands and help control the team and pace. If they and Wemby stay healthy, the Spurs should have wins in the mid to high 30's at least. Their ceiling is probably 42ish. In my mind the best starting 5 for the Kings, (as of now), would be Fox, Ellis, Derozan, and Keegan at the 4 because he's put on a lot of muscle and is a very versatile defender, or maybe hide derozan at the 4?? It's tricky. There you have at least 2, (I still consider Fox to be a good defender), so maybe 3 solid defenders in the starting 5

You guys failed to mention Keon Ellis, (edit: you just mentioned him LOL) when he became a starter near the end of the season, they became a top 5 defense in the span he was a starter. He's an absolute beast of POA defender, great wingspan, absolute menace all across the floor. Insanely talented help defender. Complete pest. So really what it boils down to is Ellis and Keegan with them defensively. Alex Len, granted he's a backup center, does provide good rim protection and defense. Fox led the league in steals and is a good defender, him being a - when he's on the floor I personally think is because of players like Huerter and Barnes sharing floor time with him heavily effected that for him imo.

The wolves do not really need a big wing tbh. Naz, KAT, and Jaden are more than enough at this point. TSJ is the replacement plan for NAW. Dillingham is the pick for Conley-who will get worse with age. The wolves severely lacked scoring punch last year down the stretch and you can see a shift in emphasis of defense to maybe being a bit more balanced, which could help them get over the hump. Dillingham will probably make them much worse defensively when he is on the floor, Kyle Anderson’s loss will be big for their bench defense. I think the team becomes more interesting though with a better pick and roll partner for Rudy than Ant being added to the mix. (Ant is great obviously, he just has surprisingly bad numbers for PnR, he hasn’t figured it out yet).

Zach you ll see. Dillon Jones can do it all. His shooting will only get better. A great team player and a winner.

He's just an ok guard prospect that's why. He's only 6ft tall and will be the smallest player in the NBA. On top of that he's really not crazy athletic like a Ja Morant is at the rim. Also not a natural PG who organizes offense.

There'll be lots of skid marks from defenders trying to keep up (or trying not to get their ankles broken) with this ball-handling wizard. This kid will be exciting to watch.

Would've been neat to see Shannon at #27 and small trade to move back into early 2nd round for Kolek. Rob is high upside and might end up being the best in this draft in 5 years, but they are built for success NOW. Shannon and Kolek are older and will contribute immediately.

@@kingrigdig1585 they HAD a pick and a swap they could have used in a stronger draft next year but don't misunderstand me please. I love Rob and think he will be a good fit. Just that they kinda handcuffed themselves by trading those last two assets. I like Kolek and think he is much more of a pure point. But overall, I'm thrilled to see Rob in Minny!!! It's very rare for a top ten pick to go to a contender.

Wolves need a +IQ to play QB/PG. He also dont put effort on defense. I guess since dude dont eat enough and fake mj eats too much they complete each other?

He is also young and not very big. If he puts on 15-20 lbs of muscle and puts more effort he will be fine. He did get drafted by the best defensive team. And who the fuq is fake MJ
