    Puto is from Malay putuh. Note that Indonesian is just another standard variant of Malay.

    My great grandma used mostly spanish words. Ex.her salamin(mirror) is espejo.

    • @arnelelero
      @arnelelero 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's the same in visayas or mindanao (bisaya).. espejo..
      i believed visayas has more loan words than tagalog. all words in a week are all the same, from lunes to domingo.. even the word semana is the same

    E incluso... many words not just tagalog but also in ilocano.. we refer to words like "torpe" to things like when u break something similar to what the guy said in mexico not just only being torpe to a girl.
    -mani in ilocano is same pronounced in mexico..
    -we also say puta as bad word but the same for both boy and girl but refer to puto as rice cake.

    Yup if you stay in the Philipines for a very long time, you can hear walking vendor saying “Puto” as they blow their horn to selling food.

      Jaja 😂 aquí no comemos ratas... Hay un plato típico llamado "cuy" y que en el plato (cuando está frito, parece una rata pero no es rata). In fatti, non l'ho mai mangiato, never. Só de olhar pra ele, não me apetece. 😬
