I'm so excited you made this cake. When I was growing up, one of our relatives from Iowa introduced this cake to us. The only difference was they called it the Texas sheet cake. Way more batter that you poured into a sheet pan, baked it, and poured the icing over it while it was still hot. I'm going to make this one since it's just me. Thanks to Calvin for putting the written ingredients on the screen.

Looks yummy. I have a friend having surgery on his ankle in May and he will be disabled ambulatorily for a while. I am planning several recipes I can make and freeze for him to have easy meals while he recuperates. I'm looking at a lot of your casseroles. Thanks very much. That is one thing that we like about casseroles, they are easy to freeze and heat up later. We usually freeze them in single servings so that we can microwave them quickly. Prayers for your friend.
