Should we make a whole outfit? jogging pants? a hat and booties? let me know what you want to see next!!
Yes! The whole baby should be covered in crochet!
Yes please!
That would be awesome. Just got done making this adorable sweater, this was my first time making a pullover.
Definitely xxxx cute xx
Please do! A whole set to complete the look will be absolutely perfect. 👍🏾
I’m 11 and I’m going to crochet this for my baby niece. I’m really exited to be an aunt but unfortunately I can’t be at the baby shower and they live really far away. I’m going to a state championship competition this weekend so I cant come, but since I can crochet I thought this would be a great gift! Thank you for posting this ❤
That’s amazing! I learned to crochet when I was your age from TH-cam videos. Stick with it because you can make some pretty amazing things using these skills!
I just completed this. I made mine light green with a blue stripe in the middle and on each sleeve. The last rounds on the bottom and the neck I did in the blue color just to break up all the green. It turned out great. Thank you for posting the video. The instructions were easy to follow. First time for me doing the front and back post stitch.
Who else had to restart the sleeve to 25? 😂
Other than that, thanks a lot. I had so much fun following this pattern. I loved it. You are very clear and make it very easy to follow. ❤
I immediately ran to the comments when she said that 😭😭
i made this with a 4.5 hook for preemie, if i ever decide to make another one i would use a 5 cuz it was a bit tight. i changed colors for the ribbed lines and attached a cute flower to the front, it’s too cute 😭 thanks for this it worked out really well!
i love the softness of this grey yarn
and front/back post sts make a much nicer rib than the backloops method. better stretch and better structure
omg, i have missed your crochet tutorials so much and i didn't even realize. i love the clarity of your instructions.
thank you thank youuuu
Making this right now for my niece. So easy to follow, thank you for this pattern. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪🫶
I love how simple this is. I’m a beginner and sweaters seem so daunting
THAAANK YOUUU! I just made my sister this as a part of her baby shower gift!!
Made 2 of these… love love love how quick & easy it is. Thank you for this, I was always scared or nervous to do jerseys/sweaters.
Just finished this tutorial and am pleased with the outcome. Thank you Laura.
This tutorial is amazing. Before this one, I didn’t understand any other tutorials and I felt really hopeless about my abilities. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to understand how people make sweaters but the way you describe it just clicked for me for some reason! I’m currently using this pattern to make a sweater for a stuffed snoopy :) thanks so much for posting this
Laura, thank you so much! I just finished the sweater for my baby, it's so cute! The tutorial is extremely clear and easy to follow, and a beginner and I could follow along the tutorial, thanks a lot ❤️
Great job, Keisy!! And Thank you for the kind words.
Just found your channel. I have two new Granddaughters due this year so I'm going to adapt them for them. Loved the way you did your tutorial. Thank you ❤
So cute, thank you 🧶 I crochet 🧶 for an elderly neighbor with dolls.
Such a clear tutorial, well done Laura! The audio was really smooth and soothing, too :)
My aunt just announced her pregnancy an I am so excited to start on some pieces for my new cousin!! Thanks for this tutorial, definitely the first one I’ll make!
I enjoyed watching because you sound so happy/cheerful in giving instructions...have a lovely day❤
I made this sweater in a bright bluish purple color called Iris and it turned out amazing!
Yay! That makes me so glad! I want to make another just for the cute!
@@LastMinuteLaura I also made a matching headband and it is the cutest! I wish I could send you a picture so you could see how well it turned out!
That seemed nice and easy for a novice like me, if you wanted to make it for a bigger baby I’m guessing you’d just increase the measurements. I’ll give it a go. Thank you.
baby sweaters are also a great way to learn the basics of sweater construction on a small quick project
totally! Small, cute, quick and easy!
Thanks for the tutorial! It’s so cute and tiny! I just started learning how to crochet about 3 months ago. I’m almost done, working on the sleeves. But really annoyed that I made two rows of front and back post double crochets only to hear I have to go back and undo everything I just did. Maybe you should go back and edit that the foundation is actually 25 chains, not 26. Maybe you can edit with some text so you don’t have to do a voice over or something.
Thank you so much for posting this comment and saving me from doing the same thing! At least it should have been edited in the description, if not in the video.
I did it with 26 (lazy me didn't want to undo everything) and it looks just fine! ☺️
Me too! I've been searching the comments feeling like I'm going insane trying to do front post back post with 26!! Thank you for this I pressed play again and heard the updated instructions after reading your comment x
This is my go-to baby sweater pattern. I love it!! ❤
I did this thank you so much it's very easy and simple ❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊 Thanks for watching!
Thks I’m new to crochet but managed to make this jumper
i have just come across your channel and want to say thank you so much for a brilliant tutorial....i cant wait to try this!!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching and I hope you subscribe :)
It is the cutest... I will start this project... It's beautiful😍✨❤
You can do it!
Great video Laura! Hope it goes viral!
I hope so too lol, or at least has some reach! Thank you!
So cute, thank you so much for sharing this tutorial, I am going to do this right away, I love it 😻
You are so good with explaining Thank you very much

spitting facts. :)
Such a nice tutorial, thank you! But I recommend to watch the video before and take notes... like I didn't hear the stitch count for the body pieces so count them in the video, and the arm chain mistake is mentioned after already making the cuff... so better to make notes beforehand!
Well l have to say your technique on the sweater I do like very much the only thing is I think you need to correct the beginning of your tutorial on the chaining when I started you said change 33 and🤭 then you changed your mind I had already gone too far to take it away you do need to make that correction I love the way you entered the sleeve and finished off your sewing with a single crochet to sew the seams together that is the way I have always done it for 57 years thank you very much for taking the time to make in the video and I look forward to watching more of your projects.
l preferred to use baby yarn especially since it's for zero to 3 months four ply wasted yarn is just too thick in my opinion I also made it with a smaller crochet hook the ribbing on the sweater I used a 4.5 but on the sleeves I use the 3.75 which is an F in USA
Thank you for highlighting the error in the pattern Janet and I will take a look. Other than that, thank you so much for the nice things you said though!
Oh and Laura, you should make this your introduction video (you know the one that starts playing when you go to your channels homepage)
So cute! That snap you did was magical!
I've made it and it's lovely, very easy to follow. My only critique is I wish you would have said earlier when you are meant to leave extra tails ect 😊x
Just lovely! For my one month old grandson. Thank you so much! ♥️
Thanks for mentioning we were supposed to chain only 25 for cuff of sleeve and not 26 after doing 3 rows!!! Now I have 27 stitches and not 26. So my cuff and sleeves are going to be bigger and I don't have time to redo them. You need to edit this video and fix it. Now this will be too big and it's for a Baby Shower next week.....
Hi Laura
If I want to make one for an older baby, like 6 to 9 months how would I increase the size please?
Fantastic tutoria!! Thank you
I will have to think on that one. Check back !
@@LastMinuteLaura I made one for my 6 year old using her normal sweater measurements. It worked. Thanks Laura. The step by step technique helps a lot!🌻
@Ethel Manyaka can you tell me how to make for 6 year old thanks!
I’m attempting to just add 10 chains and 5 rows. I’ll let you know if it works! I compared it to the clothes I already have for my babies
@@cupcakegurls909 did this work I want to make a 6-9 month one for my baby x
hi new subscriber here, i love this, will you pl do it in 3 to 6 ❤month size , or send back stitch count etc, pl thx , looking forward to following you , i to have new babies so doing lots from 3 months on
How can I make different sizes? I’m hoping to do a 9-12 month sweater.
You can start with a larger number for your initial chains. For more detailed help, come to our morning live streams, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:00am-12:00pm EST!

Bello 😍💓😘 Argentina Gracias por compartir 😃🙏
Thank you Marta!! Come back next week for another!!
Love this little jumper can’t wait to try it is there a written pattern ?
This was just what I was looking for for as I move just started a cardigan on a Sirdar written pattern and got confused doing the decreases
I don't believe I have a written pattern for this one posted yet, but I DID make one... So come to one of my live streams and I will help you out! Thanks for watching I hope the video is clear!
@@LastMinuteLaura not sure what a live stream is or how it works but look forward to a pattern :)
Making this for my daughter!
Can you do it for 3 to 6 months
Hello - I want to make this for 6 months. Do I start off with more chains at the beginning? I'm a beginner so not sure how to do this. Thank you
Such a cute sweater!!!
thank you! I love it!
How to make in a bigger sizes like 2 -3 yr old?
Your tutorial is soo easy to follow. I can't wait to try it out
Y5
Just beautiful!❤
I love this but feel like the it won’t fit over the baby’s head
I loved it and I’m going to try to make it
Saving my spot 19:27 row 21
Do you have a written pattern I could follow? You go too fast for me, especially at the end of the row. Lovely pattern and I look forward to completing it. Thanks
I wish you would show the rows like where and when you're counting from, I think it's very confusing when someone is trying to follow it bit by bit.
Sorry it did not work for you. I am always trying to improve.
What size hook would you use for newborn
Hi I have just started to half double crochet for the 15 rows. Can I ask : Do I chain one after each row?
When i measured the width of the torso/stomach part, it was 19cm! I followed every step!
Anything im doing wrong?
would really appreciate a written pattern, especially for the sleeves where it is hard to keep track of which rows i am increasing
After you finish the front and back post double crochet rows, should i still be able to count 33 stitches in the row when doing the double and half double crochet rows?
No entiendo nada 😂pero pondre el traductor 😊muy bonito el trabajo😊
I used size 4 yarn and 5.5 hook. Measuring from the neck to bottom 11in and 10 1/2 in side to side… so i guess it will be bigger not sure what i did wrong 😅
Where did you get your crocheted hook Beautiful, thank you for your video ❤
Hello, I am a bit confused about counting the rows for this project. Are we counting all of the rows, including the ribbed area or just the hdc rows?
Hi Quincy, it is including the ribbed (I think). Thanks, Laura
No it's not. This tutorial is all messed up. You need to edit this and repost
Hi Laura how is the baby? Did yiu ever make joging pants xx
I’ve made it over half way through this tutorial and there’s just no way this is 0-3 months… the pattern is huge
I used a smaller hook because I thought the same thing it looks too big
I did size 4 yarn and 5.5 hook it’s about 11in from bottom of neckline to bottom of it and 10.5 in side to size def way bigger… sucks I’m trying to make it for my baby coming in Nov and prob would fit in the summer 🙄
Hi yes please I would like to see full set baby ❤
Would I be able to sell these if I link this video and credit you?
Love this sweater! I made one in red, just for fun. I had a question, do you think I can modify the pattern in multiples of two to fit a 9 year old?
Thank you and good job on making the sweater! Multiplying will make it bigger but proportions may not be the same. I say give it a go! Good luck 👍
@@LastMinuteLaura thanks for the reply! I think I'll try doing it :D
Did you end up make for 9 month old? My son is 9 months and created one with just playing around. I have never crochet before. I think my sweater fit him a little big more like 12 month but need to extend the arms a little more
So cute!
Can you please tell me how many skeins you used? Thank you
Welp I wish I would have known before crocheting that chain of 26 that it was in fact 25 😮
I love this video, but I was trying to get the written pattern and couldn't access it
new to crochet but I’d love to make this for my littles. How would you adjust to fit a 12 month old. Would you add more chains at the beginning?
Good question Allie. This would require a different pattern. Thank you for watching.
Can this work with bernat baby blanket yarn?
Most definitely. I would recommend a number 3 or 4 weight, but any yarn will do, just keep in mind, the thicker the yarn, the tighter the stitches will be and the bulkier the final project will be. Good Luck!
Hi, would this be considered a beginner-leveled tutorial???
Yes
yes :)
Please, where can I get a Hook like yours? Thanks
Thanks 4 sharing ❤️
Thanks for watching!
can you give measurements for a 3T size sweater?
I have made the jumper but can't up load it foru
I neeeeeeed this in an adult pattern, failing that, someone to tell me how to do it 😂
Here are 2 options for videos I made for adult sweaters!!!
Women's Medium/Large: th-cam.com/video/ZsR4U5-E1ZI/w-d-xo.html
Men's XL: th-cam.com/video/HPxY7yVCgXo/w-d-xo.html
Serious! "Change 25 instead of 26" WTF
Quiero hacerlo para mi bebe😊
Great and easy to follow video but it was a bit annoying that you didn’t make a note early on when starting the sleeve with 25 instead of 26.
When she tells us to make a chain of 25 not 26 after we were instructed to make it: 🙂
I know right??? I'm so angry....she says 25 chains after doing 3 rows of cuff of sleeve....ok...well I have to make this for a Baby shower and no time to redo it...😢
So confused on what I’m doing wrong I’ve did everything right but when I try to fit the sleeve it is too small. 😢
How is it too small. Like the cuff is too small, the width of the top of the sleeve is too small or the length is too short?
If you need to, you can pull back some of the rows of the sleeve, then re do them, but with 2 Sts at the beginning and end of every other row, until the sleeve is large enough. I hope this helps!
Oh my God I did double crochet! 😢😢😢what do we do if we did half double crochet I’m so disappointed in myself and I don’t want to remove the work
How would I make this a bigger size, like a 12 month size sweater?
Good question, Elana, and that would require a new pattern. Thank you
I love this......I'd love that's for me nevermind the baby size 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just to have cause its cuteeeeeeee 😂😂😂😂😂
Can I buy the written instruction?
Why does mine look like a 3T.. I used a 1/4 inch smaller hook 😂
Mine looks huge too uses red heart size 4 yarn 5.5…. Might try again with size 3 baby yarn using maybe a 4mm hook… wanted this for my baby coming in Nov but maybe it will fit winter 2025 😂
And the hat and the booties ect
Do u have any fr 5? Yr old
How do I make it in size 12-18months please
Hi Clo. I'm glad you like the pattern and the sweater. New sizing would require a new video and a new pattern. I'll add the idea to my running list. Thank you, Laura
Hi! How many yarn did you use?
I followed the tutorial and I used just 1 🧶 yarn
How much yarn do you need for 0-3 months?
Dommage qu’il n’y est pas la traduction en français ????merci sous titrer
