So, I just had a look at the renew site, it is now 14, 315 signatures and I read the comments...oh my, how hilarious.😅 These people don't realise that a franchise/Disney/Lucasfilm are a business and their priority is to make money first and foremost. Disney/Lucasfilm would have certainly done their mathematics from their data of whether to renew or not. The signatures would need to exceed viewership which won't happen🤣 as there are WAY MORE OF US

I saw that it's up to about 1,200 signatures now. Plenty of justification for Disney to blow another $180 million.

If they get to 100,000, and those 100,000 ALL pay for the highest tier (Disney +, Hulu, Max bundle) for $29.99, they can make an investment of another 180 million back in just a hair over 60 months (5 years), as long as they can keep them subscribed.
At the lowest tier (7.99 a month Disney + basic), they could get that back in 18.8 years, as long as they can keep them subscribed (at current pricing)

Ok, so back in 2018, the "Sense8" fan base got 523,000 signatures in order to try and get Netflix to give us a final season to at least wrap things up. They gave us 1 2.5 hour movie. (Granted, this was better than nothing) The point is, "the Acolyte" will need at least that many signatures, and maybe they'll get a 2 hour wrap up movie.
Side note, Sense8 was a super woke show with tons of diversity and LGTBQ stuff in it. But it wasn't canceled because of "the message" it was canceled because of the insane budget of filming in 8 locations around the world (many scenes needed to be filmed multiple times in different locations)
