1st! Finally a new video was getting worried there Mike! Thanks a lot for doing base models, it really help for youngsters like me who want a basic car for modding and/or hating some of the newer tech.
Got a brother in law who got a brand new 2017 Ford Escape se last year. Has been a very good little suv. But the only thing that didn’t last vary long is the splash guards in the rear back of the tires. The feeling is like a cardboard box. We live in a Gravel community, All roads are full of Gravel here and there. But still for an s base model is a bit too much for 24K should be at least 17K without the bells and whistle‘s.
Doesn't the 2.5L h4 ave basically the same fuel economy as the 2.0L EcoBoost 4, FWD to FWD? The 2013 Fusion SE 2.5 I had as a loaner last summer had worse fuel economy than the 2015 Fusion SE AWD 2.0 EcoBoost I have as a loaner now.
Base model! Wooo! Thank you! More car people should do videos of base/mid-tier models.
I will say, I love the seat height in these. I went from a focus to this and the seats alone were worth it.

Dustin Hart - seriously. Who the hell cares if you're "first"?
What does that accomplish?

These things were a great bang for your buck on an a2b daily driver. Well before car prices went crazy that is.
It drops in value quickly . It is a good buy 2 years old . Sure you can go wrong . I did got a Sonata and the engine locked up at 70.000 miles .
loved the review mike almost at 50,000 subs congrats
Thanks :)
That Challenger looks mint in the background! We got a Charger SXT for the week as a rental, and it was very nice.
Hello Mike! Love your vids, can you please do a Ford Edge sel trim level review? Thanks!!!
So glad I got a Mazda CX-5 ! Not much vehicle for the price !
Thanks for watching and your feedback :)
Thanks for reviewing the S model Escape. Is Sirius radio available on this base model ?
if I were to buy an escape I would definitely have to buy a higher trim level with the big screen In it. I don't like the way it looks without it
Then you get one of those hand grenade eco boost engines. No thanks a damn turbo is just something else to go wrong that I do not need.
Do the 2018 Ford Escape but in the Titanium Trim Level !! :)
Ford is kinda saying "the S model is a waste of money"
"go for the se model"
I love it. Don't want a damn turbo just something else to go wrong that I do not need. Just wish you could get this trim in AWD.
how come this review is of a 2017 model, but vid description says it was published in 2016 :-)
Great review by the way, very useful.
Can you do more GMC and Buick videos.
If you do please do the GMC Acadia SLE-1 2016 And 2017.
mike can you make a video of the 2016 nissan sentra
I'll try :)
I don't like how small the screen is it seems that the SE model has a bigger screen
Got one just to build credit up for a year
Same here
It does have a spare tire (!). Many cars nowadays don't even have that - or, for that matter - a jack.
Wait so this is already out ??
It's been out for a while already

I have a 2.5. I call it my little gas guzzler. The fuel does suck.
Good Review.
Is there an AUX jack?
I didn't see one.
MikesCarInfo Must be the perfect car for the iPhone 7! 😂😂😂
Why is there a challenger in the background
That is my new ride :)
+MikesCarInfo are u going to do a review?
Yes fairly soon
I don't think the S stands for sport mode. I think it stands for 2nd gear.
+John O'Donnell Where did you hear that?
owner.ford.com/how-tos/vehicle-features/transmission/selectshift-automatic-transmission.html
That Escape has an exhaust leak .
I did not see anything
You can hear it, not see it at 0:11
