and he's getting much better at it lately if you have noticed ...he just said he's got 35 CR500R's WTF over ⁉️ : that BSA in this video is on the endangered species list as it is one of the few twin cylinder scramblers ...but the 1971 Suzuki 400 motocross was their very first and one very rare puppy ..as I remember one guy in our group who rode the coal strip mines of Staunton Indiana every Sunday ...one guy shows up one Sunday morning on this brand new that day Suzuki 400 that no other manufacturers were building a 400 at that time ... As it was like a 250 on steroids
Omfg an RS250 Suzuki ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ all it needs is a license plate and ride it to vintage Motocross races ..something I have always wanted to show off doing
My old man still has a 1972 Suzuki TS 400 all orange as the original owner with 1200 miles. Bought him over a decade ago all the gaskets, forks seals, carb rebuild kits and a top end kit for Xmas in case we ever needed it. Just 6 hours or so north in Canada.
Wow! The vintage RS250! RM125 and CR125 are the sweetest looking bikes of that era! gotta love the 80s! Thanks for the cool bikes and and commentary! Those bikes had such a vibe then! They were state of the art at the time, and still kick ass.
Cool enough to ride all day instead of melting in the sun... Good thing about 2-strokes, they are about as complicated as a blender. Remember to grease the hinge in the middle of the frame of that Cyclone...😆
I've never seen so many cool bikes in one place before. I had one of those orange 1972 Yamaha 250 enduros. You could have done the entire 18 minute video on just the Robbie Knievel bike!
Wow the things I could do to that TS 400 ...back in 1975 the co owner of the Santa Fe New Mexico Suzuki shop Mike Brimer won the prairie dog motorcycle club mile-high Enduro of cloudcroft New Mexico 250 class on his everyday rider a TS 250 Suzuki .... There is a big huge misunderstanding about Suzuki's oil injection system on these old two strokes ...you never never never disconnect it AS THEY WORK FOREVER SPOT ON ... You might want to look at the owner's manual or shop manual for the correct adjustment of the cable to the pump as it has an adjustable volume.... Suzuki oil injection system is light-years ahead of everything else that has ever been done... Not only do they have a oil line going to the intake port if you look closely there is another oil line bolted to the left engine crank case that supplies oil directly to the left main bearing of the crankshaft ...the right side crankshaft main bearing is lubricated by the transmission oil....and here is the game changer as Suzuki's oil pump is driven off of the transmission's countershaft at a much slower RPM than direct from a crankshaft as the competitors of did ! And running the oil pump from the transmission shaft eliminated all the piston and crank vibes that destroyed Yamaha pumps in a short ...and guess what I just now found a drawing of the oil injection set up of my 1967 Suzuki 120cc single ...check this out and you will what to get your hands on this TS 400 ..IMAGINE Ohlins front and back and a tuned pipe ..with a license plate www.thejunkmanadv.com/2-stroke-oil-injection-systems.html
Did you say you are opening a shop in Florida and if so god bless you , YOU deserve it you are always working keep god in everything like you do and I ask that for everybody because with your attitude you could save a lot of souls with just you words and you seem so happy all the time and everybody loves happy people keep rolling big dog you the man !
I always trust you guy's because you are Christians. And the lord lay's a heavy burden on us when we lie. Keep up the kick arss work you do and God Bless from Spokane, Wa
Wow another great video as usual you have such a blessed life so jealous such gorgeous bikes so bummed i couldn’t get the money to enter the raffle next time I’ll definitely make sure i buy a few tickets just to own a Kaplan bike I’d probably ride it once or twice then just have it on display. Whoever thought you couldn’t fix that beautiful TS400 must have no clue who you are or probably just trolling and honestly Jeff needs to write a book the knowledge that he has is on another level it’d easily be a best seller in it’s class every bike guy would want a copy i know hard back paper book’s are all but gone now but i could honestly see any bike guy having it sitting on there work bench it’d be a must have. Thanks for sharing all these videos all the best from Scotland 🏴 stay safe and take care of yourself and your whole family including extended family in the shop.
Where in Florida are y’all opening up a shop? Been meaning to take a trip up north to visit the museum, but if y’all will be anywhere near south Florida maybe you’ll save me the trip 😁
Beautiful looking and sounding bike. When any of your mechanics work on vintage bikes, they always haul ass. Haters are always gonna hate, like you told me a while back, and ignorant people, are gonna always be ignorant, speaking on scenarios they know nothing about.
'71 tm 400 cyclone..hyperactive powerband..my dad had one&sold it after one ride..he said it handled like crap&the power overstressed the chassis..we rode maicos after the tm mistake!!
There’s always a few💩 out there. Ken you have proved yourself as well as your crew !🇺🇸 that’s a sweet bike ! Dime piece. Wish my situation was different cause I need therapy like that … badly 👨🏻🚒🇺🇸
Hey guys,...who is a good source for a replate/ on 2 stroke cylinders these days ?, The exhaust side scarred up on it/rm125??,2002 I was checking price , the oem from Suzuki is still available ....very impressed with Jeff's knowledge , he is the real deal....keep em rolling God bless
Man, hope you guys dont install a revolving door. Maybe cross-train (negative on the egos) the shop in every aspect, from top to bottom, to keep existing, and growing. Test for knowledge, effort, and execution, for advancement in pay maybe 2t a year. Chest cam would have been cool to see that 400 converted reed valve back to stock intake. It was educational when the camera shadowed Jeff on the xr head rebuild. You might stumble into daily training videos for the shop guys to learn from, and stills to go with the bikes to prove their worth.
I would love to find an all original or close to original 1974 Yamaha 360 MX that was my very first race bike that I bought new off the showroom floor 1974 have not seen one since
Are any of your mechanics or team members gonna move to Florida to run your new shop, or are y'all gonna hire people in Florida to run it? Jeff is one badass motorcycle rider and mechanic! I will definitely miss seeing Jeff, the Manic Mechanic in your You Tube Videos.

I watch every video he does this man is an encyclopedia when it comes to motorcycles
