The Charge 5 has a richer sound and deeper bass. I just recently purchased it along with the Clip 4. I love them both. Two big selling points for me with the Charge 5 is the long battery life and the fact that I can charge my other devices on the go. But honestly you can't go wrong with any JBL speaker.

The Flip sound really good! Crisp highs, good Mids - overall present. To my ear, the Charge cant compete here - except for the bass.
My guess is, that they tuned the bigger driver more towards bass in the charge, while in the flip more towards mids and voices.
cap the flip hurts your ears charge is way better

I think JBL Flip 6 has better sound clarity...Charge 5 is good with bass when it comes to higher volumes, but reliability is less since it is bigger...Flip 6 is a Speaker which has better sound clarity & the ability to handle easily..I will go for a Flip 6...:) Thanks for the review
Flip 6 has great sound when it comes to highs, but if you want a more richer sound with good balance go for the Charge 5!
Flip 6 have eq so you can modify it
@@bilgehancomert5890 you can also modify the Charge 5 in the JBL app now, I just downloaded the update and turned down the tweeter slightly and it sounds much better.
@@DAZNOODLES07 what is your eq and charge 5 version? Mine is an NT and I put bass on +2 mids on 0 and highs on +1. It sound the best for me
sound balance in charge 5 is 💩if you listen to rap is ok sounds good, but if you like metal/rock flip 6 sounds much better in those genres
@@EmoDogg jbl has EQ apps so you can change the EQ whatever you like,, so CHARGE 5 win
For me Flip 6 sounds better. More balanced frequencies and better instruments definition. Charge, could and should have been, much ....much better than Flip but it is not, it's just different flavour. Maybe I expected too much because of diferences in size and hardware but still.....

Flip 6 sounds better to me, despite the fact that have less bass compared to Charge 5. But anyway, I prefer the Flip 6 because of its size. It's very portable. Tks for this review. Which one do you prefer?
To me sound is better too. Charge has too bright sound. Deeper bass means nothing if it's not properly ballanced with other freq's. And Flip 6 has that. On Flip I actually hear drumm and bass lines, on Charge it's overshadowed.

Hey, I have Flip 6 gg version. It's portable speaker that you can 0ut in your pocket. It have so much power, so loud with amazing bass. The best speaker in the market.
Bigger speaker you only use on some sort of situations. Portable speaker you can take anywhere and make it party anywhere you go :P

I always liked the Flip series more because I personally think it much louder than the charges’ and doesn’t pack too much bass without destroying the highs and lows. And of course more practical because of its small size. Easy W
Well, charge series are louder and sound better in every frequency. You have to test both in person. I already had and charge 5 sounds definitely better. Although, flip 6 is a great speaker for the price and size but is not better.

If you want a more powerful version of the flip 6, propably better get the charge 5 as TL and not as tomorrowland (Nd) version. If bass is everything for you take the charge 5 nd

Yeah right, flip 6 sounds more wider and fuller and the treble is so good, the charge 5 on the other hand only the bass is good.. I give points to flip 6

Flip 6 is more balanced but charge 5 has more bass and is louder i have a jbl charge 5 and i have no problem whit it

Bass is good almost same as charge 4 but offcourse its still way smaller

Я, как и вы сейчас ломал себе голову, смотрел кучу сравнений, комментов, выбирал цвет, версию(ND или TT/TL), уделил этому много времени.
Купил 5 чардж в синем цвете(цвет огонь, советую) ND версию ибо она превосходит ТЛ/ТТшку в басе, и водонепроницаемости, ТТшка в свою очередь незначительно превосходит NDшку в высоких, хотя как по мне выбор в ND тут очевиден. Купил за 5к гривен, и считаю что в принципе переплата минимальна. Сборка, качество звука на высоте, за свой размер она отрабатывает с головой, басс мощный, за это не волнуйтесь.
Берите и не думайте)

I don't know why but the charge sounds like it's under water and it's sounds washed the flip 6 sounds better hands down
Charge 5 is still better in bass and mids the flip speakers also ways sounded bit higher for loudnes
130$ vs 140$ the charge 5 sounds better.
JBL FLIP 6 can already be found cheaper with some discount codes and soon after release it will go down a bit

i think you should compare flip 6 and flip 4 because most of the users didn’t upgrade to flip 5 because of it’s hoarse sound. So they have to decide between flip 4 and flip 6. Just an advice 😉 and i’m glad that i’ve finally found a test video about flip 6. I think i’m gonna buy it but i want to see a Flip 4 vs Flip 6. Keep Up 💪🏻

You don't here stereo on this size....
Stereo works best when left right channels are atleast a meter apart
You only hear minor difference with stereo speaker like motion+ if you put your face near the speaker but still not perfect because left and right aren't separated enough on small speaker's
