This ain’t no muscle car replacement. If you want a V8 get yourself a mustang GT. Dodge is just keeping up with the times, and if they want to still be in business in the 21st century they have to sell boring, fuel efficient everyday commuter cars that non car people want to buy.
That’s just the reality. Car enthusiast make up a small portion of new car sales, hence why they had to cancel the viper. Not enough car enthusiast would buy them, and the average Joe/Jane that just wants an everyday commuter to haul their kids and go to work has no interest in buying an 7L+ V8 muscle sports car.
