Sorry, not my cup of tea. I have no clue how this small Alfa-Romeo Tonale based crossover could be a serious successor of the great Challengers and Chargers. I feel even the passenger space inside is worse compared to Challenger. I feel blessed driving Challenger, let us enjoy what we have till we can... Greeting from Europe.
Dodge needs to come out with the GLH option ASAP. The only way their customer base will even come close to supporting this is if they give it 3 second 0-60 times and 12-second 1/4 mile times. Even then they're fighting an uphill battle, but at least the owners of the GLH hornet could claim that it will beat a scat pack. They need that insane top-tier Hornet model to first gain respect, which will then drive sales of the lower trim levels. This has been their mantra for almost 2 decades with SRT's, hellcats, demons, and RedEye's. Also, simply being the fastest in the segment is not enough - they need to shatter segment barriers and blow people away. Imagine the video's of a dodge GLH hornet beating a 5.0 mustang or SS camaro at the track. This is the dodge we've come to love and respect.
R/T badge was for the awesome cars like the challenger, charger, coronet. In this case, R/T stands for really terrible. I'm a huge mopar guy, but dodge sealed its fate by going electric and stop building real cars with the hemi.

Your NOT a huge mopar guy , your a hemi guy. Big difference. You don’t stand with Chrysler dodge Jeep ram the way I do. You stand with the engine. Which means zero. Nothing. Zilch. Nada. If your a HEMI or a charger / challenger Fan , say that. Your not a mopar fan.

That would be super cool if it was a charger or Challenger. Not sure why all the companies are pushing out performance mom vans. They talked about not liking the change but they're here enabling it by going all electric and making "quick" compact SUVs. Dodge talkin about the brotherhood of muscle while Ford releases another generation of V8 mustang
Just letting you know that the Mustang has been an ELECTRIC SUV since 2020, too. Also Ford has more revenue, so they can buy more emissions passes (I don't know what they call them) to sell more polluting cars. Dodge has no choice, it's either that or they go bankrupt.
Go see Biden if you're not happy with these emissions regulations.

This is not an R/T. The “Modern” R/T has the screaming entry level 5.7 Hemi. That’s what the Mopar Enthusiast loves
It has a slower 0-60 than my 2006 charger r/t. This thing should weigh half my car and still can't put out better performance than the 5.7 hemi in a 3 ton car. If this is the meaning of R/T now, then it doesn't mean anything anymore. It really hasn't since the journey r/t got a 3.6 pentastar which was the base engine in the rest of the dodge lineup, but this seals its fate. Just like disney with ruining old classic names, dodge has killed the meaning of R/T and soon they'll kill GLH and SRT.
It kinda looks like a neutered Durango. Not a fan, I’ll stick with pre covid Dodge.

Non like most people. I see this car as a fun type of car with that performance and really I do t see it as to be as super powerful as an Scat Pack but I see where there going with this

It’s not even a v8 it’s a 1.3L engine in front and a electric engine in the rear making it awd I don’t know how but this car makes 288hp and gets up to 383 Toto pound-feet of torque

Interesting takes on the R/T badge and the electric transition, folks! As a car enthusiast, I can see why the move towards electric has ruffled some feathers. But consider this: Electric doesn't necessarily mean the end of performance. Think about Tesla's Ludicrous mode or the Porsche Taycan. Yes, we'll miss the roar of the Hemi, but electric tech is evolving to bring us insane torque and speed like never before. 🏁
Could it be that Dodge is future-proofing the brand? It's a risky move for sure, but maybe one that ensures the survival of "the brotherhood of muscle" in a different, cleaner guise. What's your take? 🤔🔋💪
