Wow. The details these guys put into these games are so exceptional. That was the greatest looking tabletop battlefield I have seen in military TT's thanks for role-playing too Joe. I wish I was there! I'm gonna buy one of wargaming's battlefields for my brother's Christmas present man. Brilliant
9:42 this is my first time watching someone play Miniatures & I have to say Joe I love the way you have the different camera angles. It really makes it accessible to me... I feel like I'm watching a bird eye view of the battlefield game (but one of the good ones)
It's great to see battle reports becoming more popular. I've had my own gaming channel and have struggled to get people to watch mini wargaming. Now it seems people are starting to recognize their potential.
Although I liked historical recreations in media, it is funny to think that those soldiers back then had no idea a game would be made out of that day, Imagine in 90 years we have a "Save the capitol and get Trump"
Little nitpick, the Pershing didn't go into production until November 1944 and the first tanks arrived in Europe in February 1945... then again, Dolph wasn't in Normandy either...

You guys should go crazy with these games and have Hit her on his last stand in Berlin but his wunderwaffae stuff actually works and he has 40K units going against the Soviets
2 Sherman DD's did get on the beach and there would of been a third if 2 waves didn't get up and over the canvas screen and so swamping it about 30 feet short of making contact with it's tracks. But if the US did what the British did where they released theirs about 70 feet off of the beach instead of three quarters of a mile off for the Americans, most of them would of probably made it on Omaha.
Woot Bolt Action looks so awesome! So glad to see Joe playing this 40k oversaturates the mini war gaming market so good to see something different. Y'all should try Beyond the Gates of Antares (another Warlord game) similar rules but cool looking scifi units.

My Great Uncle (Mom’s Uncle) was on the beach of Utah on D-Day. Was the sole survivor of not only his platoon but of his infantry.

23:24 the vast majority of German soldiers defending the beaches on D-day were not veterans. IIRC they had some veteran division in reserve.

This is a great game if you want to spend thousands of dollars on models that you have to put together yourself AND paint.
