For some reason, I’ve become obsessed with HST for the past year or so😄😄😄. They are so much fun and I, getting reasonable competent sewing them. I like this small version and I seem to have acquired quite a few Charm Packs! Another super project!!!
What a cute table runner! I plan to make several to give as gifts. I have so many orphan 5" squares as well as single packages. This is one of those projects I can make gradually while I'm making larger quilts.
Hello my darling Sweetpea, this project turned out absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents 🙏. I love watching you each week. It makes your mama's heart happy. ❤😊
Misty I adore your quick and easy pinwheel. You are sew clever and your fabrics are so lovely! Thanks for such a great tutorial and can’t wait to make this tablerunner.
These are great. I am Making these in place of the drunkards block row on my BOM summer strolls . Thank you Misty . ( i usually change up my quilts to my own design ☺️
Interesting that others have noticed the change in sound from the previous BabyLock Accomplish to this Bernina as the sound of a sewing machine can bother me also. Perhaps that’s why I really like the sound if my vintage Singer machines - mine run from. 1926 to about 1960 - wouldn’t touch any Singer from about 1960 forward!
3:20 I made a quilt of pinwheels like this, and I learned the hard way orientation does matter. I wondered why the block I just made didn't match the rest, I laid it back together and realized I turned the bar unit/block so it wasn't the same as the rest 😂
I have a concern about white fabric backgrounds with colored fabric pieces & the colors running into the white with washing. Do you have any advice on that subject? Im planning on making baby quilts & they get washed a lot as Im sure you know. Thank you for making these wonderful videos for us. I LOVE them!
Is there a pattern for this, because I did not see it when I clicked on the supplies link? I was wondering if you had used the fall charm pack on your sample?
Hi Misty, ❤ This video was so great. Would you please consider creating a video with a new version of Jenny's "Friendship Star" block using HST in some project?❤❤
I did t see a pattern available on the website when I looked just a little bit ago but I’m hoping that there will be one soon! I’ve been purchasing the digital ones lately - I can print them myself and keep them all in a binder. It’s just easier for me to actually locate a pattern this way😄😄😄
If you are using just as a table decor runner, I use one layer of warm and natural, if wanting to make it functional you can use a layer of insul-bright and one of warm and natural, yes is slightly thicker but if placing earned dishes on it, it will not be as bumpy as you think
I was thinking that this would make a really nice quilt - maybe a little larger squares to start? But it just occurred to me test I do have some “interesting” wall spaces - like right above our front door there is a space before the big window waaay up there starts (can’t even reach it at all!!) and a long piece would fit there on the wall! I don’t use table runners either and my DIL does have a nice long table - but anything with nice colors doesn’t fit her “decorating scheme”!
You can totally tell you edited the video to make that turtle machine look faster. It takes sooooo long to cut. Good grief. I would never purchase this machine! Buyer beware.
I sew with an older friend who doesn’t use a dinning table anymore. The runners are great to decorate the foot of her bed.
The black cutting mat makes it really easy to see the pieces!
I love pinwheels and this technique adds a mini size pinwheel that increases the "cuteness" level. Great tutorial, Misty❣️

Cute! It’d be great for Patriotic quilting.
I like the two toned pinwheels! They look great! I thin this would be a fast quilt if I used a layer cake!
I love pinwheels and being two toned is a great idea. Thank you Misty.
Wow! This block and table runner is SEW beautiful! Excellent tutorial, Misty!!!
I love my 21/2” ruler, use it all the time.
Thanks for showing how to make these pinwheels, makes for a beautiful block. Love the table runner.
This is such a great block. Thank you for this great tutorial, Misty. You always explain things so clearly. Have a great day. ❤😊
I also like seam and ruler reference points to match each block. Lovely design.
Hello my darling Sweetpea, this project turned out absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents 🙏. I love watching you each week. It makes your mama's heart happy. ❤😊
Great block tutorial. Love the finished runner.
I made one a few years ago for a gift and they are fun to make. Thanks for the tips. Love watching you ladies. 🤗🤗🤗💞💞💞💙❤
Pretty with that fabric.
Misty I adore your quick and easy pinwheel. You are sew clever and your fabrics are so lovely! Thanks for such a great tutorial and can’t wait to make this tablerunner.
This is my current favorite print line. Would love to see more of this fabric!
Great project, pinwheels look very delicate by mixing two prints. Greetings from Poland, Misty.
Great new project for these cold days ❤
Just what I’m looking for, an easy but very pretty table runner. Thanks Misty.
Thank you, Misty. This looks like a project I can get done before the 4th of July; meaning all the gals in my family can have one. 😊 ❤ Thank you.
Very cute block. It will use up some of my scraps.
Perfect instructions and a beautiful finished project
Thanks for the tutorial, beginner quilter here and you make me inspired to think that I could make this one! Thanks again

This is so pretty and your instructions are perfect, as always. Would you tell me please which cutting mat you’re using?
Thank you.
So cute!
Easy peasey!
muito bonito.
This looks so fresh! Hugs, Chel 🌸
Great quick table runner. Your videos are always quick, full of information and easy to follow
Hi what a lovely demonstration and design I think it would look lovely as a quilt think I’d need to do some maths for that 🤨💕 x
Me too. What you said re: larger & math. I like doing the math.
What is the finished size of the blocks and of the table runner? Just adorable!!😊
Where do I get the cutting mat your using?

Yes, sounds really loud! Go back to Babylock!

Love this block. Also interested in this machine. Which Bernette is this?
Is there a pattern for this, because I did not see it when I clicked on the supplies link? I was wondering if you had used the fall charm pack on your sample?
Hi Misty,
❤ This video was so great.
Would you please consider creating a video with a new version of Jenny's "Friendship Star" block using HST in some project?❤❤
How do you like your bernina? Which presser foot do you use for 1/4”?
I miss the lives you used to do
I really like this one! What is the size?
Good video, would be nice if you had a print out of the pattern for people that are fairly new to quilting.
You have to buy it.
I did t see a pattern available on the website when I looked just a little bit ago but I’m hoping that there will be one soon! I’ve been purchasing the digital ones lately - I can print them myself and keep them all in a binder. It’s just easier for me to actually locate a pattern this way😄😄😄
How would this look as a quilt made with a 10” layer cake?
I have a bernette that I use when I go to my quilting groups. I use the quarter inch foot, how come you don’t?
I love pin wheels but always have issues with the bulk of seems in the center.
Is there a pattern available for this table runner?
Noisy machine for sure. It’s too loud and all those sounds would make me crazy. I know there is probably a way to silence those.
I'd like to know what sort of batting is used for table runners, and how much quilting is done to give a flat surface. Not something that is bumpy.
If you are using just as a table decor runner, I use one layer of warm and natural, if wanting to make it functional you can use a layer of insul-bright and one of warm and natural, yes is slightly thicker but if placing earned dishes on it, it will not be as bumpy as you think
I asked WHY you switched brand, could you please answer that?
Its a Bernette. I dont know why, though😊
On the 17 frame where the dog visited what is the name or pattern for that quilt
That is our Tiny Wonky Stars quilt pattern! This is a variation Misty made for herself!
Thank ordering now any video of making
What size is the runner?
This table runner will be 20" by 65"!
The machine seems to be too noisy .
This is why I prefer my BabyLock!
Why did you gals switch sewing machine brands?
I'm curious too!!
Me as well
Me too. Tell us about this machine
I was curious as well.
I would guess it’s who offered the best sponsorship deal
I'm not usually a table runner kind of gal but I love this one. BTW -
your press on nails are distracting. Go natural baby!
I was thinking that this would make a really nice quilt - maybe a little larger squares to start? Stunning!
