I have used Sync 2 (My Ford Touch) for years, currently have two vehicles with it. Never had an issue with what some journalists did, I have always chalked it up to their very limited time/experience with the system. So complaining about it only gets an eye roll from me. If my non-techie parents, who are in their 60's, can understand it fine.. maybe it's not the system that is the issue.
i personally enjoyed this review but i really wanted to hear how the new 500 watt system sounded. i know that in the flex the 300+ watt sony system lacked on the lower frequency side but mid range wise, it was great. maybe next time we can get a sound test as well. ive been looking for a family vehicle where i can finally leave a car's stock sound system alone lol! i have a habit of stripping out the premium stock speakers and integrating my favorite brands with them along with after market amplifiers.
yeah he hinted at it. it's an American car company and American car companies reuse parts from other models. and they bought Range Rover right? So there is probably something reused if not just the looks
Ford doesn't own Land Rover anymore, they sold it to Tata Motors. The designs, however, were created during the ownership of both companies; thus, Ford technically owns the design language Land Rover have used.

+Autobytel that's odd because my brother owns a 5.7 ram and we've been able to average 24.5 mpg going 74 mph. I don't see why ford doesn't just put a v8 in the explorer.
