Ellen, you are such an inspiration to those of us who grew up with parents that were not as kind or loving as you. Breaking generational cycles is hard work and seeing you raise a family over the years has shown me that it's worth the wait, the hundreds of hours of therapy, and choosing differently over and over again.
Been watching you for years and this is by far my favourite video. So touching. Such a beautiful journey you’ve had. And such a beautiful inspiring reminder to us all to enjoy the now. Thank you. 💙
Ellen, in a world that otherwise made me so confused and out of tune with myself and my own desires, you inspired me to start a family. I'm so grateful. Now I have two beautiful children who are the light of my life.
I found myself tear up watching this video. I have watched Ellen’s channel since I was in the early years of high school. I am now 23. She is the one channel I have religiously watched throughout the years. I feel such a sense of “home” when I watch her videos. You can truly feel the love and warmth she pours into each and every video. It has been such a joy to watch not only her grow but her beautiful family. She has inspired me and helped me grow in so many ways. It is so special to see all that she has accomplished and yet continue to be such a genuine person❤
Literally laying here crying because I’m so moved by all the love erupting from this video. I’ve been watching you on and off for around 8 years and have hopped back on after awhile since struggling with depression for a long hard time. Your uplifting message reminded me to be more forgiving to myself through all I’ve been through. Pls never stop your inspiration, much love.
Hey Ellen! I just wanted to stop by & say a huge thank you for all you’ve shared over the years. Before I was even a mom, I have been inspired by your journey in motherhood & especially now that I have two little boys. We shape our lives around being out in nature & growing closer to the land, & you have inspired so much of that. Keep doing what you’re doing! You are changing lives of those who watch & the lives of their children too💛✨
Needed this video so much today - thank you for inspiring me to be my best self and also the best mom I can be "being creative is one of the best parts of life"
This video made me cry, it was so touching and beautiful. I have been following you since Elvis was a baby, waaay back I remember searching daily for "mango island mamma" and hoping you'd have a new video. And now look where you are! And look where I am, a mama too! We're doing it!
You and I were the same. I was/am very outgoing and wanted to be friends with everyone, but was "the weird girl" that people wanted to change to be like them (when I liked me being ME). It never stopped me from being kind to them, even when they were cruel. It is nice to know someone else went like that. That is beautiful that your mom didn't yell at you over the spillage of spaghetti. I think when my older boys were little, I yelled, but I became conscious about it and stopped over time. It was hard, because I was often yelled at at home as a child and grew up around a violent father. I am thankful that I was able to change and a lot of people tell me I have a lot of patience, which is incredible. My children really love how I have parented them and it makes me really glad that I fixed my own mistakes early on so their childhood would be more relaxed and happy, without worry of living in fear of the people who should love them the most. You are a great mother and I am glad your mother taught you so much and left you with a great example. Your hair looks lovely. Being pregnant, my hair has been thinning, and I had to cut a few inches from the bottom early on (My hair was to my mid to end of my thighs and I am tall, but now it is to the middle of my bum). I hope it thickens again after birthing and maybe I will go get it done one day. I have only had my hair done at a salon twice, once at the age of 8, and once at the age of 29. Very much loved listening to your monologue throughout this too, especially at the end.
Oh Ellen I wish I'd had your mum or someone like you as my mum. My parents shouted at me and shamed me, never supported me in the way I needed and never attuned with me. I had bullying too but always took it that there was something wrong with me. Now comes the generational transformation as I am not only healing my own traumas but I am making sure I parent my own children in the way I needed which is what they truly need. Thanks for sharing this its exactly what I needed and I had a good cry. There is nothing money can buy to give kids the ultimate privilege. To be heard, cared for and nurture in a loving and respectful way.
You are a wonderful woman, Ellen, and you are blessed to have a fantastic family! I know that everything you have in your life took "a lot of work". Your wonderful family, your relationships, your friends, the priceless memories you have with your mother...all of these are an integral part of your life. I am happy that you have your dream come true! Be healthy and happy, love each other so much and raise your children with love! I am convinced that you will teach them how to become good, smart and intelligent people! You know how.
Oh my gosh, I love this. I had to do some shadow work and it brought me back to you 😭 you were the type of mom I aspire to be. Thank you for being you Ellen. It’s been over 10yrs and I’m glad I stumbled on your account when you first started out. Sandy was still a baby and Elvis was too 😭 the day scout was born, I was so happy. Now you have 2 more!! My God. Praise The Lord!!
Gosh, sometimes I gaslight myself and tell myself that my childhood wasn’t that bad, but the fact that a lot of my trauma stems from my mother having the complete opposite reaction to every thing you mentioned really says a lot. I need to be kinder to myself, and I appreciate hearing your experiences and perspectives x
Truly thankful I have stumbled upon your content (TH-cam, podcast, birth course) while I am expecting my first baby this summer! The outlook you share on motherhood and family in general has been a wonderful refreshing resource. I even look way back to when you just had Elvis and Sandy and you were always such a natural with great mothering advice! Thank you for your job in sharing these perspectives. The world needs more like you and your mama! 💗
Ah nearly every one of your videos brings me to tears. Long time follower here of almost 10 years! Ellen, you have been one of the biggest inspirations for me and given me a vision for the kind of life I'd like to live. I have endless gratitude for you and everything you share. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This drew such emotion from me. I just started my overall health journey and my family is finally in a journey of peace and acceptance like this. Thank you for being a light in my life!
Thank you for always reminding me how precious time is with your children…. They grow SOOOO fast. And that the little memories are what stand out most to them ❤
Your videos bring me such happiness and positivity, Ellen. Thank you for sharing little tid bits of your life and wisdom with us. I've been following you for many many years and have since had 3 children naturally at home. You have definitely been a inspiration for the way I started and continue to raise my children almost 9 yeas ago. I understand you're still continually evolving and growing therefore you're posting a little less on TH-cam and Instagram. Although I miss the more consistent updates I am so dang happy for you and Andrew and am thankful for what you do CHOOSE to share with us. Love you lots ❤
I totally get what you're saying. I used to be very insecure and not comfortable with my body, and so I would be very judgemental with other people, saying things about their bodies and themselves (I kept those comments to myself, just so you know). But I started working on my self confidence and loving me more, and now I understand that everybody is different and that's the beauty of it. I stopped saying mean things to myself, and so I did to people. I was also bullied in school, and thank you for sharing your experience. You are an inspiration!
Ellen, this was so beautifully done. I got all choked up several times, but the story of your mama and the spilled plate of spaghetti was the most lovely. She sounds like she has been priceless in your life. Thank you for sharing.
I love seeing the children, along with the family doing things together, and seeing new and old family friends. That's the best part of the video. I hope to see more of those!
This video is everything. My eldest moved out a month ago to go live with his dad. It was one of the hardest moments of my entire life. I know it is all part of our journey. And I know ye will come back and we will have a better connection.
Hi I usually don’t comment but I just wanted to say thank you for sharing these moments of your life with us. I literally broke into tear watching you paint with Scout. It was so healing. I don’t even know how to explain it but thank you!
I love you and your channel! You are so sweet and transparent. I was bullied to a lot of my life too! I love that advice. My mom would tell me I’m beautiful inside and out, smart, and friendly. And that I would do big things in life. I always remembered that.
Your existence is such a blessing for all ellen!! And anyone who tries to bash you, or bring you down in any shape way or form shows that they are in a low place within their selves, absolutely. All you can do is keep being kind and keep being you, just like you said. And wish them healing and the support they may need to be able to shine brightly like you do. I'm personally super grateful for your beautiful videos and reminders ❤️ keep shinning!
I wanna say, I just love your vlogs, your children, your family… your environment! Your videos bring me a sense of peace and calm, which is so needed in my life right now. I admire your vlogging style! I’m newly married and just immigrated to the USA to be with my wife and SIX kids (2 with full care disabilities) and my wife has been a vlogger for over a decade… my new life is a massive contrast to living alone in New Zealand with my cat! Such a huge adjustment. So it’s nice to sit down and watch your family and feel familiarity and peace 🤍🤍🤍 I’ve been watching since sandy was a baby! So beautiful to see them all grow up ❤
This is the most beautiful, humbling, inspiring video. I've adored your videos for years, but your last few minutes brought me to tears. It has inspired me to live by those words. Look at how far I've come! I am right where I dreamed to be! And that's beautiful ❤ So grateful for you and your family!
this kind of videos of yours always tear me up. Your family is so wholesome and beautiful. You create such beautiful moments with your friends. Oh man.
Ellen, you knocked it out of the park with this one! I’ve been following along since your Mango Island Mama Days and your videos are always so amazing, but this one felt like pure love and gratitude. There was something about the way you edited it that had me in tears several times. And I think it’s more than just the content.. the voiceover with the sentimental moments playing out was simply lovely. Well done!!
Your mom was truly one of a kind. Many people don't have the love of their mother, and that shouldn't happen! My mom passed away a few months ago, and I truly think I had the best mom ever. She was very loving, caring, she never ever yelled at me, she always made sure I had everything, and I miss her everyday. I'm really happy you still get to share memories with your mother!
Thank you for this simple yet important reminder to be present and remember that how I react and what I say will stay in my children’s minds wether they remember it or not. You’ve got this vlog thing down. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch . Thank you 🙏🏻
This is so important! I grew up with parents who made it clear that nothing I did was right. I swear I cannot use a dishwasher to this day without anxiety because of how my mother would critique how I loaded it and it was NEVER right. Lollll…ugh. As a result, I have very little confidence and self esteem even to this day and I’m in my 50s. I’ve improved that over the years but it’s scary how this imprinted so much on me. I was never really treated with kindness and patience. Always irritation. Of course my mother has a very different version of my childhood and would never, never believe “my version”.
OMG what a blessing your family is to this world! You guys are so amazing. I'm truly happy for all of you, you deserve everything you have. Enjoy every day of your beautiful life full of love and laughter! 🙏😍 and your hair is something beyond this world 🔥
Thank you for always making these videos. You always make the days brighter. Your family would agree. To hear the impact your mother has on you is so moving. I hope everyday that I can become a patient, loving parent like you and your husband one day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🥹🫶🏼
You are SO inspiring Ellen. I love your channel and content and family so so much! I am a long time follower, have been following for 6 years and I hope to be a mother raising my kids in the same manner. You are phenomenal as a mom, a wife and a person. Thanks for inspiring💕
Ellen! This is one of my favourite videos that you have ever uploaded. Have the biggest smile on my face, thank you for the words of wisdom from your mum and yours to your beautiful family❤
I think this is my favorite video you have ever done. You have a beautiful family and you are an inspiration. My children are young adults now but I look back and I am so happy I spent so much time with them. It was so worth it!! I wish you and your family continued love and joy.
Ellen you and your family are so beautiful, inside and out. I can totally relate to the relationship you have with your mum, it reminds me so much of my mum and me, I hope one day I can be as amazing as she was she still is! It's such a beautiful blessing. Thank you for sharing your story with the world to inspire other women all around the world, that maybe didn't have unconditional love as we did!
So beautiful, you have a such an amazing family!! You are a very strong rolemodel to your kids! I have 4 children and we are always doing our best for a healthy lifestyle but its a struggling somethimes..there friens familys have alot of issues and its effecting our kids and us..its always up and down but we do our best!
I am in love with motherhood undertone of this video ❤️ loving kids unconditionally is truly the key since they are doing their best ❤️ Always excited to see bits of your days Ellen! Great video, as always
i love how you filmed the water colouring scene. i felt like i was watching a movie, so many amazing angels. I love the blue paint plopping shot too. "you're a fantastic artist, you're always experimenting." I've been watching you since the beginning and i just love you so much.
Ellen!! This video is my new favorite. I love the stillness of this video although it may not be your day to day life there is always so much authenticity you bring to moments you share with us, your simply making the best of each day like so many of us try to do, it’s beautiful seeing you soaking in such intimate moments with your family and friends because time is flying!!!
Thank you for sharing the pictures of your beautiful Mama and you! You're so lucky to have such neat loving memories of you Mom. Also, your hair!! It's looks fantastic, she did a great job of making your highlights look very natural. And you have gorgeous hair to begin with of course! 😊💓
I wish I had that. She just keeps putting me down and commenting on small things to purposely mske me feel bad. Thankfully I'm now the mum i need . ❤ We can break cycles
Ellen you've never looked better - this weight is perfect on you, so lush, luminous and radiant ~ it was watching you spread the oil over your arms that made me want to buy the products and look more like you. Also your hair is so lush, you don't need to lose any weight or get 'lean and mean' . You are the picture of health and wholesomeness, former Mango Island Mama!
first of all, your videos are always so inspiring. mentally, physically… literally all the ways. thank you for taking your time to share little snippets of your life. it never feels too perfect to relate to, and that’s refreshing 🤍 second, do you have resources on camera equipment you use for these videos?! they’re so beautiful!
I think this is one of my new favorite videos of yours, Ellen! 💕 You always portray the beauty in your life in such a perfect way. I loved the theme of lessons you’ve learned and especially your relationship with your Mom..how special! Your videos fill me with not only inspiration but a lightness and joy that carries with me throughout my day. You are an incredible mother, wife and video creator and I wish you all the best 🥰 thank you for sharing your messages of love, gentleness, and health
Hi Ellen Fisher you're very good mother and you're Children are very good and all of your family members are very good Human beings because of love and affection each one derieve from other and I like your videos because you give lots of information about how to take care of the health and tips for happy living
Oh my goodness, Elvis looks just you in that picture of you in your blue dress! I love how your mom handled the spaghetti incident, such a great role model.❤
I had the exact same thought a few weeks ago. Here I am, living the life I always dreamed of : healthy kids, loving man, wonderful house with a garden, and a job as teacher in a school so close that I can walk to. Thanks for sharing again this moment about your mom not blaming you even if she told you. So meaningful of how a mom should act in my opinion !
Though I don’t have any kids of my own I can attest that it truly is the little things that kids hold into the most as they grow. Some of my favorite memories were when my mom would get completely down on the floor with my sister and me and color or do arts and crafts. She always seems relaxed and happy to be there so I took notice then and it really stuck out to me. So my words of encouragement to any mom would be to remember what you enjoyed the most about your mom when you were little and try to to do those things and have more of those moments with your kids. If you didn’t have those moments take the time to be intentional to have simple times for love, patience and quality time with your kids now. It really does leave a lasting impression.
It’s amazing that I have done the same with my kiddos about their friends.. I have always told my kids just be yourself don’t change for anyone.. we are unique and special in our own way.. wow what a great memory and great way to handle that story about the spaghetti.. definitely wished I hadn’t overreacted when my kiddos were young.. thanks for sharing.. 💜💜✌️
These days in your life videos are my favourite! I’m a new mom to a baby girl and they remind me to slow down and be present with her and just enjoy the tiny things! Thank you for sharing your life with us, it’s beautiful!🥰 On a side note do you have any tips on dressing a baby for warm weather?? She runs hot and we have summer coming up in Ontario and I feel so stuck on what to put her in while also protecting her from the sun😫 Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻She’s 3 months old😊
Love the positive, grounding energy you put out in to the world Ellen. Your videos have had a big positive impact on me, especially after giving birth 💙
My mother and grandfather( her dad) taught me the same thing. I have carried it with me my whole life. Plus a few other lessons I carry with me and teach my children.
I watch you since it was only 3 of you and this was one of the greatest, most touching video you created. I truly love and admire you guys, thanks for constantly sharing the light and good energy with us ❤
Thank you Ellen I’m going through this same thing with my daughter at school She is so enthusiastically friendly and gets children being mean to her. This is good advice from your mum thank you 😊
Your hair looks amazing! I love how you still make time for yourself! I have 2 children and can barely find the time. I definitely need to set aside maybe 20 mins a day to do something for me. As mommas we deserve a little time to rejuvenate!! Also I can believe how big Dagney is getting and how grown up Scout is. So adorable!
After lunch I always do „a break“. so the kids are in the room with open doors and have quite time. they can listen to an audio, draw, „read“ books. something quite for about 45min and mommy gas her coffee and quite time too 😄🙏🏻 works great!
What a beautiful message and video-You’re a gifted story teller, Ellen!! Thanks for creating such healthy, balanced & real content. God Bless you & your lovely family ❤
So sad to hear that someone would bully Ellen. So happy that you stayed you. ❤ The story about the spaghetti plate got me teared up. Such an amazing show of grace from your lovely mom. She and you are both inspirational.
I can't get over how much Scout's looks have changed. She is really looking like such a little girl and has lost almost all of her babu looks. Your kiddos are so blessed to have you as their mama. Your thoughts and feelings on how we should treat our children and ourselves has helped me to be a better mom. Thank you for sharing a little glimpse of your life with us. P.S. I was wondering if you have any advice for some who wants to eat more plant based but has severe allergies to nuts and seeds?
Your kids are so blessed to have you guys as parents. What a wonderful childhood you've given them ❤
Letting your kids paint, not worrying about the mess…👍🥰
She should let her kids eat eggs and meat, but other then that, sure
@@raenv19 Why this comment? Why? What's the point of it? Let them do what they want to do.
Yep except for the fact that they’re constantly hungry bc most of their diet smoothies that don’t near fill them up

Scout is so funny and so adorable. She really is a mini you, Ellen! We always love watching you and your beautiful family grow💜
One of those pictures of baby Ellen is the spitting image of Scout.
Ellen, in a world that otherwise made me so confused and out of tune with myself and my own desires, you inspired me to start a family. I'm so grateful. Now I have two beautiful children who are the light of my life.

Please get your mom on the podcast while she's visiting!!!!!
That would be fun
Yes!!!
Yes please!
It’s been amazing to watch you and your family grow all these years 🥲

Look at how far I've come! I am right where I dreamed to be! And that's beautiful ❤ So grateful for you and your family!
this kind of videos of yours always tear me up. Your family is so wholesome and beautiful. You create such beautiful moments with your friends. Oh man.
The spaghetti on the floor memory is one that stuck with me. You shared it once before and i often think about it. Such a small thing yet so powerful❤
Ellen, you knocked it out of the park with this one! I’ve been following along since your Mango Island Mama
Days and your videos are always so amazing, but this one felt like pure love and gratitude. There was something about the way you edited it that had me in tears several times. And I think it’s more than just the content.. the voiceover with the sentimental moments playing out was simply lovely. Well done!!
This is just beautiful! Thank you for sharing this. As a mom I can relate and begin to feel confident on the person I have become. Thank you.
“I never want to stop…artisting” quote for life scout!!
So so beautiful ❤
I will now forever say tippy whenever I need to use the word top.Thank you Sandy! You are a prophet! 😅
You can just feel how grateful you are in this video❤
Thank you for this simple yet important reminder to be present and remember that how I react and what I say will stay in my children’s minds wether they remember it or not. You’ve got this vlog thing down. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch .
Thank you 🙏🏻
Dagney is saying Mama, awwww! 🥰☀️
🙏😍 and your hair is something beyond this world 🔥
Love you Ellen! Thank you for the constant reminder to live in the moment. I was in tears at the end. So beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for always making these videos. You always make the days brighter. Your family would agree. To hear the impact your mother has on you is so moving. I hope everyday that I can become a patient, loving parent like you and your husband one day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🥹🫶🏼
You’ve the most beautiful hair ever. It’s so thick, curly and just wonderful.
You are SO inspiring Ellen. I love your channel and content and family so so much! I am a long time follower, have been following for 6 years and I hope to be a mother raising my kids in the same manner. You are phenomenal as a mom, a wife and a person. Thanks for inspiring💕

Ellen you and your family are so beautiful, inside and out. I can totally relate to the relationship you have with your mum, it reminds me so much of my mum and me, I hope one day I can be as amazing as she was she still is! It's such a beautiful blessing. Thank you for sharing your story with the world to inspire other women all around the world, that maybe didn't have unconditional love as we did!

i love how you filmed the water colouring scene. i felt like i was watching a movie, so many amazing angels. I love the blue paint plopping shot too.
"you're a fantastic artist, you're always experimenting."
I've been watching you since the beginning and i just love you so much.
I aspire to be a mom like this, life has been hard but we can always find ways to be thankful and gentle through it all! Beautiful video
your hair is absolutely LUSCIOUS! so beautiful!!
Who cares about weight? She will do as she pleases.
first of all, your videos are always so inspiring. mentally, physically… literally all the ways.
thank you for taking your time to share little snippets of your life. it never feels too perfect to relate to, and that’s refreshing 🤍
second, do you have resources on camera equipment you use for these videos?! they’re so beautiful!
This video and its message is coming at the perfect moment! Thank you, Ellen! ❤
Thank you for sharing your life with us, it’s beautiful!🥰
On a side note do you have any tips on dressing a baby for warm weather?? She runs hot and we have summer coming up in Ontario and I feel so stuck on what to put her in while also protecting her from the sun😫 Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻She’s 3 months old😊
Such an amazing person with a beautiful family! You inspire me 🫶🏽
You are soooo inspiring! Your videos, messages, words, family, friends, babies, house are wonderful! Thank you for sharing the beauty with us :)
Your hair has always been just the most beautiful, most healthy, gorgeous thick hair.😍
I truly love and admire you guys, thanks for constantly sharing the light and good energy with us ❤
Thank you Ellen
I’m going through this same thing with my daughter at school
She is so enthusiastically friendly and gets children being mean to her.
This is good advice from your mum thank you 😊
Wow you are one of the few self aware people regarding your mom, most don't have that and the ones that do don't realize how lucky they are
Your hair looks amazing!
Such an inspiring video! Beautiful message for us all to reflect on. Gratitude and being present. That's everything!
What a lovely video Ellen and your beautiful writing at the end brought tears to my eyes. You are raising such compassionate and thoughtful children.
What a beautiful message and video-You’re a gifted story teller, Ellen!! Thanks for creating such healthy, balanced & real content. God Bless you & your lovely family ❤
I can relate to the feeling of being too much. Your mom seems like such great and supportive mom and both you and your sister reflect that.
This may be the most beautiful video you’ve ever made. Thank you for sharing your life and lessons with us! ❤
What a beautiful incredible video. Bringing me tears of joy and encouraging me to be grateful for where I am right now
I always look forward to your videos. They are so uplifting and inspiring. Your family is such a light in this dark world.
So sad to hear that someone would bully Ellen. So happy that you stayed you. ❤ The story about the spaghetti plate got me teared up. Such an amazing show of grace from your lovely mom. She and you are both inspirational.
Wonderful video to watch on Mother's Day weekend. I enjoy your videos, the Hawaii scenery, loving family and positive messages. Happy Mother's Day
Beautiful Ellen ❤ Happy early Mother’s Day
I can't get over how much Scout's looks have changed.
