I've always wondered when we'll get rid of the 3-pin ARGB cable, I guess it came sooner than expected
It was just about to become unbearable. putting two sets of ARGB fans on a radiator had you managing more cables than came out of your PSU. I always wondered why that can't just be bluetooth or something.
This dust cleaning mechanic could be build-in function in fan and it could do it each time PC is idle for a while, without using a button.

I would like the option to choose full mesh or full glass on every case, and if they ever come out a third option, it is an easy swap.

Lian Li's Usb stick is too large they need a v2 revision imo, I would not use as it will block other USB ports.
Agree it's a bit large. Fortunately it comes with an adapter that lets you connect it to the motherboard's usb 2.0 header if you prefer

6 bucks short USB extension, probably should be included, like the HDMI one that comes with a Fire TV Stick.

The wireless RGB is nice for cable management, but it introduces standard issues for wireless anything. Limited number of devices on a receiver, signal interference from external sources between the RGB devices, creating signal interference for other wireless devices nearby, so far proprietary communication standard. Not using a powered hub also nice for cable management, but also introduces limitations, with the total amount of current available through the motherboard header vs independent SATA power. And if you are getting power from a USB port on the motherboard, and the power needs to be physically connected to all devices, it seems reasonable to pass USB data along that wire and forgo all of the wireless communication, but then we've pretty much reinvented Corsair Link.
That 79.99 case is going to sell really really well.... So long as Steve does not show it has bad thermals. Looks like it will perform reasonably well so thats gonna be a good seller.
loving all of this. my next build I'm waiting to do is a RTX5080+R7 9800X3D and lian li O11D vision with their infinity fans and this new wireless rgb controller. so cool, I'm hyped. hopefully this winter 😁. now I just need to decide if white or black
I was actually going to buy some Lian Li products for the PC I am building this summer, but with these innovations, I might wait a little longer.

The PSU placement is going to prevent so much cross/diagonal cable problems and make for much cleaner installs. Kudos to Lian Li for new design work!

Damn that wireless rgb is so inticing. The only issue is that i already have lian-li rgb fans, and I dont want to throw away my old fans that i already paid significant money for. We'll see what happens I guess

Im a fan of the way the wood accents flow into the design. Its pretty cool. Looks like a breeze to build in too. Its a spin on traditional cases that draws a lot of attention I am sure. I expect this will create some serious turbulence in the market as other companies catch on. I wonder what the Cost to Feature Measurement will be once this makes it into consumer hands.😁
I love those wireless Lian Li fans. Definitely going into my next build.
Granted I had just recently got myself a new computer as I do not have tiny dexterous raccoon-like fingers to build myself one, all of the new Lian Li stuff looks quite promising!

I wish mboard manufacturers would make the 24pin on the side of the board facing just that the side instead of straight up as the norm. It would make builds look even more tidier in cases like the Lian Li one at the start

No, they improved the physical aspect.
The underlying problem with RGB still exists - the fact that there's no universal standard, and that every hardware manufacturer has their own software implementation.
I'll never understand why PC RGB didn't adopt DMX.
The problem with RGB isn't the wires, it's incompatibility of RGB ecosystems. I bought Phanteks because it had a standard RGB headder to plug in to my Asus motherboard.
No one cares about he wireless RGB, that's actually making the biggest problem worse.

I mean why would I sacrifice one USB port for a wireless controller for RGB? And from the looks of it, it's going to block another USB port with how big it is. Good concept though.

I’m a simp for Lian-Li, I recently built my new pc a few months ago using the evo 011 case, now that got glastops and RGB rims, and I think I seen they came out with a curved adage glass, but whatever, I still think my build looks better then these😭😭 tha RGB hub tho..😏
