It's unfortunate you got such a god run on such an easy last boss. It'd be cool to have seen how it would have gone against the full 300 health.
I had the same thing happen to me when I got VIP pass. It was lame, but also a really fun deck. Hopefully next time will be different.

@@Lunaraia Really? I thought Vigor would actually be the one thing that made Vim decent, since you could refill your deck with 1-cost card copies (though ofc you could still end up with too many full-cost cards and/or dead low-cost cards).
@@Warhawk. vim and vigor together makes it so you never run out, which is nice, but you also tend to just run into the issue where you just get the same 3 minions over and over and over and over since 2 go into the deck for every 1 that go out

You know, on my 1st ever run, I took the murloc boss to like 175 health, and it was back to 300 afterwards. Some weird bug happened.

Got the VIP treasure earlier this day.
Immediately died to Ermavar as the second boss.
Corneria is an awesome tune, my band just covered it last week cause we all love it. Pretty surprising to hear it here but is another reminder that Jens has good taste.
I had the VIP pass, but then I hit the ghost that becomes stealthed with a weapon equipped, he drew the spectral cutlass, and despite me having full board control, there was nothing I could do as he ate my health.
I got the pogo hopper deck in the 3rd Dungeon, it was a walk in the park until the plaguelord, he had taunts for days thanks to the scarrabs, and from turn 6 on multimple sylvanas who always would take over my biggest pogo ended that run fast.
got the medivh one, it was a breeze
I hate that shit unless you have alot of taunts you'll likely lose and it sucks having to wait till he fatigues :/

@@nesdenon4612 He bought and opened an entire Explorers bundle before realising Blizzard would already give him one. When Trump ordered a refund, Blizzard had to subtract the cards' value from *somewhere*, so they removed Gold equal to the value of the packs he had opened.

Blizzard was going to give Trump a pack bundle for being an influencer. Trump had already paid for a pack bundle and opened them. And then when Trump wanted a refund they charged him again but this time with in-game currency?

To be fair, it's an honest mistake since it isn't a necessarily obvious one. The Card he picked had -3 mana discount buff, game intereractions could had been that it just doesn't show the mana value under 0, but it still had the enhancements, as is the case of what Trump thought, that the mana value would be a 1 mana card reduced with 3 mana + 2 = 0 mana
I dont like the design of the Plague Lords. They're more frustrating than fun to fight, and having the player intended to lose to a boss feels like shit.

I had a vip last run change all my deck with pogos the speedrun was crazy
you don't mess with Ermavar. if she goes off regardless of where in the run it's over.
The funny thing is that she's very powerful but doesn't use her hero power properly, it doesn't take into account the damage that it's going to deal and doesn't play useless spells just for the sake of abusing the hero power. I could have lost due to her having Gallywix's coins but didn't use them. So she's so good she doesn't need to play well :P

Trump bought the ToT expansion using his own money, but then Blizzard gave it to him for free, so he wanted a refund. They deducted his gold in order to give him a refund, hence it became negative

@11:00 ish A few videos ago, the dire bat AI makes 420 IQ Sylvanas snipe plays.
And then here the leper gnome AI fails to refresh its 0-cost hero power multiple times with bad ordering with multiple copies a card explicitly put in its deck to do that exact interaction, on Heroic, so it's not like the AI is programmed to fail that interaction on purpose because it's not the higher difficulty.

First run that I took VIP it was unbelievable how good it was. When it came up in another run a week later I chose it again because it had been so powerful before. The second time with it, it was weak.
I don’t know if it was extremely bad luck but I only used two or three gold on the second tavern of the second run. Most of my cards were free or involved getting rid of my minions or taking all of the crap minions across from me. Only minion switch card I had was the one that you pick an enemy type.
I’m hoping to get improved tavern and hearthstone in the same run. Three improved tavern visits should rock.

No it isn't. It's one of better but nowhere close to best. Rng on vip is MASSIVE. It's get as good as broken decks and as bad as no passive at all. Clear best treasure is reduce cost by 1 when you play odd card. There is even no argument about that.
DonFreeq depends what you’re using, I had a run with Reno’s repeating hero power doing massive damage, the even treasure over the odd one was an obvious choice

Maybe you didn’t quite understand what I meant by the massive damage hero power, the one that deals damage split randomly and can repeat itself, increase the damage to 8+ spam a few even cost cards and the match is over even for the 300 health plague lords. The odd treasure doesn’t even compare to that setup

Yi Kai from what i heard he opened the packs that came with the adventure and since he is a content maker he would have received it without buying it, so refunding is hard and since he opened the packs they found a solution : put trump in debt

To anybody that can answer this. Why are trumps funds negative? Does he have like some sort of special backing by hearthstone?
If you refund a purchase of hearthstone packs after opening them Blizzard can't take back the cards you opened, so they take away gold equal to the cost of buying all of the packs with gold. If you don't have enough gold, you go negative. Trump bought a pre-order bundle and opened the packs before realizing that Blizzard gave him one for free as a content creator, so he refunded it.

Are people still asking this, when it has been answered in ever damn video since the release of the expansion.
Here is why he has negative gold:
Trump pre ordered a bundle for this expansion and opened the packs. But because he is a HS content creator Blizzard hooks him up with a bundle for free. For some reason Trump didn't think about this when he pre ordered. Now Trump feels stupid and wants a refund for the packs he purchased. But he already opened them, making it hard to get that refund. So in order to get his refund, Blizzard takes gold from his account equal to what the packs were worth. Obviously he didn't have enough gold so it went down to negative.

maybe it just me but i hate this solo adventure. needless grindy repetitive. same old dungeon run mechanics. massive amounts of rng in deck creation makes some runs unplayable due to pure garbage picks. seriously bring back the old style of solo adventures where you could build your own deck.
Not all of us have good cards.
Yeah, it plays way too heavily into rng, the other ones at least would give some wiggleroom
@@lockedin6699 im with you on that. but i enjoyed trying to do the hardest heroics (like kelthuzad etc) with budget decks. Hard but fun.
I miss the old adventures too. All dungeon runs are the same deck archetype - midrange with mana cheat. It's fun but there's no room for creativity and the novelty wears thin. Old adventures were legit, nerve-wracking puzzles. I had to turn into Ragnaros and Alex myself to beat Nefarion on heroic.
This guys demeanour makes me so uncomfortable...
