I took the title as the Boss hard countering Thrump' s strategy & kept think "Ok what savage thing will the boss do to make Trump loose? Is it coming up now? How about now?"
Can someone explain Trump's strategy on these Boss fights? To me, it just looks like he's wasting a lot of health and cards staying stationary without much visible gain. Wouldn't he be better off (and save a ton of time) just killing the boss?

Blitzed through the last 2 wings with her; in one of those wings I ended up spending about 80g thanks to getting VIP membership then playing as many copies of her each turn (with my first tavern visit giving 3 extra copies in my deck, and quite a few treasures giving extra copies, making it pretty easy to get heaps of Hearthstones).
WHY DOES HE PLAY THE WAY THAT HE DOES? He just sits there for hours like "I have control of the board so I'm winning. I need to not attack the enemy to not go to the next phase." But, WHAT IS HE TRYING TO DO??!?! He's not some crazy combo deck that deals 300 damage in one turn, he's just going to need to go to the next phase no matter what! Why does he just sit there for half the entire video!??!?!?!?
he waited for the boss's deck to run out so he can build big boards uncontested by the boss to cheese the other 2 phases, not working on this one because of the boss's hero power though. and yes the flex card too.
@@ペア-c5b But he started the second phase with no board at all. The boss immediately cleared it. And what's the benefit to waiting for flexplosion? Say I keep the boss at 200, then play it, so the boss is at 100. Or I play normally, get the boss down to 100 on my own, play Flexplosion, and then he's at 50, so I'm still in a better spot.

I wanna share a combo that I did in this exact Chapter with Brann. During my 1st run on this chapter with Brann, I picked EXCLUSIVELY the Package that had Dire Frenzy and beasts in it. It doesn't sound good until you learn what my treasures were. Namely, Mirage and The 5 mana Spell that casts all spells in your deck randomly and seeing as I had drawn that particular spell first with mirage still in deck, everytime I used The spell, it activated Mirage, giving me another copy of it to cast, giving me another copy of mirage that gave me another copy of the spell. By the end I had a 1 Mana 239/238 Raptor Hatchling. Kinda hard to pull off since you need to draw the 5 mana spell first and keep getting a copy of it with mirage. But damn if it wasn't fun.

I'm pretty sure it's because of auto attacks. His plan is to build a massive board, so attacking early has the chance to prematurely start the next phase.
If he hits the boss earlier then he'll have less turns where the boss is in fatigue (less health means it will take less fatigue cards to swap the phase). Boss fatigue is the setup phase, so if you limit your fatigue turns, you limit the number of turns that you can setup your board in.
So afte a month since the dungeon run is released, Trump is finally playing it the intended way instead of going with the horrible decision of picking Elixir of Vim. It took a while, but is finally done.
Trump was gifted an 80 pack bundle from Blizzard after buying one already. He didn't know he had gotten a bundle from Blizzard, so he refunded his purchase. The refund went through after he opened the packs he bought resulting in 8,000 gold deducted, down to a negative amount. Has he gets gold from playing it'll eventually go back to normal.
Trump just sitting doing nothing while he already has a massive board just makes me sad. I have to finally just start disliking this waste of time. I like his content, just not when he takes 5 hours on phase one for no benefit.
I have bought all expansions since the beginning, but didn't buy this one and won't buy anything else from Blizz until they publicly apologize for their anti-free speech actions.
kennethmkline23 this came out long before they did that though Also here is one thing, they didn’t ban him until he brought it to an after game interview even though he has been active on this for months. only when he decided to make comments on stream that had castors jumping behind decks to disassociate from did he get banned. That is not a free speech issue. He doesn’t have to stop his work or apologize for his support for Hong Kong. He knowingly broke the rules of the tournament broadcast trying to turn a hearthstone tournament into a protest against the will of the cast and crew. you can’t let people do that. This is not the same thing as the nba who punished an owner for something on his social media account. This was someone doing something on in the middle of their broadcast that the player said could put him in physical danger (his words) which also means he was putting all of them in physical danger against their will. I don’t think everyone has thought this though all the way yet.
