The Think Media Podcast is our TH-cam Church!!!! We listen closely, learn, and feel inspired to keep going!!!! We literally quote Sean and Heather daily….we say to each other things like, “remember Sean said ASQ - answer specific questions!” And remember Heather said, “minutes matter most!” Thank you to the entire Think team, you guys ROCK!!!!😍🔥👌
Put ourselves in their shoes. What content that bring value to them or relate to them. A saying: Work wholeheartedly and the money will follow. Even not every content always meet they expectations. Somehow we also make a variety of content. We only human. Not perfect. Just be ourselves in front of camera. They will learn something: notice each person is unique in God's eyes. They will continues watch if they feel this channel bring values to others that help them grow to be the best version of they are. ( Hope my English were easily understood, since English was my second language) 🙏🙏🙏
The subscriber number doesn't usually come together with the views. We are a music channel. We upload different styles every time. So it is hard to keep up with the count.!!! Though we are doing well.!!!
I am nearly at 500 subs within my first year. I agree I much rather have people who want to engage on my channel compared to just being a sub. These are all great tips!
Yes Sean that first point is crucial , recreate what the subscribers want. And thank you for saying that at the long run that new content might still get views , this is among the great things that I love about TH-cam. I get value from this podcast Think Media. Thank you for sharing 👍
One year ago today I branded my Chanel with a couple hundred subs and a dozen videos. Today I have 35 videos and nearly 1,100 subs. My number one goal for TH-cam is to make videos that people want to watch! The rest will follow!
I have about 260 subs. I sometimes look at the analytics showing what percentage of subs vs non subs are watching my video and it is usually low like less than 20%
"reach new subscribers with a new innovative video". Unfortunately TH-cam won't show that new innovative video to new people because it's different than what you are doing, and subscribers won't click it. People hate change so if you want to grow as a person and expand into a wider area, the algorithm will punish you, because you changes. Its different and people hate that.
@@LarryCheungCFA that's what my analytics tell me, and I wouldn't say outside my nich, just from a different approach. My channel is primarily a woodworking channel. Did a few videos where I incorporated metal working with the woodworking, and those video tanked. And for the 1st time since I started my channel I had lost more subs those days than I gained. I also a very little suggested videos for those vids on the analytics report. Surely TH-cam could have rolled it out Infront of people who watch other type of making videos to see how it would do. But suggested video analytics was 1 or 2.
@@Benham_Design wow very insightful thank you. So in other words, you feel that you didn't activate the active subscribers that Sean mentions from doing a different approach? Do you think that was a click through rate thing, or TH-cam simply not showing it at all?
@@LarryCheungCFA I think it was TH-cam not showing those videos at all. I think the base subscribers were not into something new so they did click it so TH-cam didn't bother showing it to a wider audience base. Same thing happens here on @thinkmedia main channel, their successful videos are how to gain subscribers. How to grow from zero subs, how to get your first 1000 subs, how to grow in 2021. If you watch those videos they say pretty much the same things. People click on them because they are hoping for some secret sauce. But they are all the same. If they diverge from people's desperation, I'm sure their views suffer. You have to beat a dead horse to grow on TH-cam and do what your audience expects. You can't grow as a person and try new things, or the algorithm will punish you for it. Stay in your lane, do what your audience expects of you and TH-cam will show your videos to more people. Swerve out of your lane and TH-cam pulls you over and gives you a ticket.
Think Media you are my number 1 tutor for my TH-cam journey .that's why l subscriber to all your channels✅ keep it up😍😍😍😍😍⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️✅ you are the best Support from @Nabling
Most of mine are from years ago before I left and came back. After an absence many of them don't even know I'm because because they don't get notified. A good number of them left TH-cam or created new accounts during the Adpocolypse. What the new people come back for are premieres. They like the premieres because they enjoy chatting with the group.
That A Huge Agreement With This Problem, Because It's Happened To Me Sometimes, But I Was At 337 Few Days Ago, Then It Went Back Dow To 335 & I Was At 336 Again, But It Went Back Down To 335,But This Video Will Help To Get New TH-camrs To Find My Gaming Channel Faster, Thanks Bro For Your Information.
Analytics on mobile has a new really helpful overlay showing subs vs new viewers. Consumption definitely trumps subscribers. I’ve got 13,793 subscribers!
Still watching, but some of this seems relevant to our situation. 50k subs and we changed our niche, focusing more on gaming and the videos do not get served beyond our subscribers much less the subscribers themselves.. which makes sense, they may not have subbed for gaming videos. BUT, is it possible to transition content without destroying your channel? How can someone change the content they want to make without sacrificing being noticed on TH-cam? Trading subscribers who wanted one thing to make the content YOU actually care about is one thing, but then if TH-cam is basing the interaction of your CURRENT subscriber base to determine if it'll reach beyond to a potential NEW subscriber base, that just seems bad and slightly unfair. Essentially it seems you'd need to create a new channel to escape the "bubble" you've created for yourself
Appreciate this! I have almost 3K subscribers and like 1% of my subscribers watch my videos, lol. I currently average around 8k-9k of Watch hours every 28 days and around 190k views every 28 days. Been blessed but just need the subs to jump up.
I have literally just started, I have 11 subscribers 😄 it's based around my fitness journey, so the down side is I can't film & lift at the same time (like movement or cool angles etc it's just basic even tho I have some great ideas for edits etc that's a difficult task
I am trying to grow my current 2,000+ subs to 10,000 so I can market my channel for brand deals. Can u please do a follow up on sub metrics for marketing?
Does promoting the videos in other social networks resulting in external views hurt how TH-cam recommends the video? Some of those may be subscribers but they get to the video externally instead of through subscription feed.
if you are sharing the link on say a blog it counts as TH-cam views. If you are downloading the TH-cam video and uploading it to social media it would not count as YT views.
I have 968 subs!!! I’m loyal to #ThinkMedia so that’s what’s help me get that many in less than a year! My mother & older church family watch my videos but don’t have accounts to subscribe!!! 😬☺️😩
Emerging from the tracking down this page more over its brillant amount of desired advice about growing my pages, I made the decision invent my youtube page!!! content^focused, you're brilliant.... [05:36.....
I think you missed something... most youtubers fail to give a lot of thought to the searchability of their channel name and the titles of their videos. If I'm searching for a particular type of content and the name of your channel and the title of your videos don't match what I'm looking for, I will never find you. Another issue is that certain topics/genres peak and fizzle. What may have been a hot topic 5 years ago, may no longer grab an audience today. Check out your competition - pay attention to the people who are pulling in the views and subscribers.
I would love to hit a 1000 subscribers but at this point I think my channel is too much of a niche. I'm going on 3 years now and and only at 331 subscribers.
163 Subs. Aiming for AT LEAST 200 subs by end of year. I do acapella covers, but it's difficult to push the vocals into a daily or weekly routine all alone, but I try.

Looking forward to 5K
Hoping to reach 10K people with my investment channel!
Podcast? 100,000 is my next goal. TH-cam? 5,000. I have way more subscribers on my podcast.

I need to go check my clickthrough rather than just guessing which thumbnails work, that's what I learned...
One year ago today I branded my Chanel with a couple hundred subs and a dozen videos. Today I have 35 videos and nearly 1,100 subs. My number one goal for TH-cam is to make videos that people want to watch! The rest will follow!
Sean, should I delete old videos that are getting a lot of attention, but aren't in my niche? Will this help my current growth?
you should unlist them or mark them as private
Loyalty is everything

Yep, I fully agree.
is that true? If you post about a topic outside of your niche, the reach (impressions) goes down?

Glad you enjoyed it!
Love this! Thanks think team for the encouragement 💖💖💖
Absolutely!!
We have been going strong for 1 yr!! Over 120 videos and 145 subs!!! our goal for next year is to be around 300-500 next year
I just started in August 2021, still have 12 subs, mainly in around tourism education.

There is a channel that got 1000 subscribers in a month, how did he do that? Channel name English nomad.
Simple. Subscribers must subscribe to the channels that they watch frequently 😂😂😂
