Just had to leave a comment to thank ya for the great instructions. First time swapping scales and my pm2 came out perfect. Great job man.

Well done instructions. Before I start taking it apart myself, I'm glad your detailed video shows its as simple as I hoped it would be. Good detail on specifics with spacers and oiling. Thanks!

Hey man. Thanks for going into such nice detail about breaking down and putting back together the PM2. I had been putting it off for months, but when i seen and heard you explain it, I went ahead and closed it out. Thanks for being to the point with it. Much appreciated 👍

Jeff, could you please do a video showing how to remove knife scales if the body screws are stripped?

Weird. My body screws and pivot screws are different. Body are T8 and pivot is T10.

    • @dr.oetqer
      @dr.oetqer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

You're correct sir. Pivot is a T10, body T8 and pocket clip T6.

    • @jagpilotohio

@@dr.oetqer that’s what mine are. He said T9 in the video for both body and pivot. If that’s the case he has a fake one.

@@jagpilotohio or he made a small mistake. And it's true, T9 bits will probably work at T10 screws most of the time, had done it myself by accident once.

One of the body screws refuses to move, is it because I only have a T-8, it did it’s job with some of the other screws

When u put it back together the blade was centered right off the bat? What if it's not how would u go about centering it?

Great video. Very helpful. At least the lanyard tube wasn't as hard as my Manix 2 Xl.

The body screws in mine are stuck on one side in the tube. The tube spins when I try to undo the screw.

Lanyard tube was hardest for me. Also had cheap tools that stripped so don't buy a $4.99 special thinking it's gonna hold up. Most of you prob already know that. Also watch video before you attempt. Would of liked to had blue lock tight and lube before doin this. I watched vid (not this one) as I was doin project.

I have the M4 bladehq exclusive satin blade and jade scales. It’s LNITB only been out of the box a few times that I might be interested in trading.

My screws infinitely spun, so I had to grab the other side with a T7 while I used a T8 on side I wanted to remove, got the screw off on one side, buuuuut… now I can’t get the screw I wanted out, because the tube spins with it
And it’s time to return the scales I just got in the mail today. Apparently the ones I got were only able to fit the original PM2, not the CruCarta. That was a fun waste of an hour and 49 minutes of my time

Every video I watch they pop out and in the lanyard tube with ease. I can't get them out of one knife and can't get them back in the other. What the hell am I doing wrong

On my Para3 Maxamet LW, the lanyard tube is "swedged" on the show side! But why? It was the dickens to get off, using a very old large drift punch that happened to fit, over a socket to serve as a Catch basin underneath. What came out is obviously deformed, but I was able to carefully file down the outer perimeter of the swedge to at least fit back in with the new Titanium scales from Rockscale Design... 😖
