One thing I'd like to note is that when our company closes down pools, we tend to drain the heat pumps and any exposed pipework that wildlife could enter, then re-fit the unions by just 1 or 2 threads. This helps to prevent wildlife from entering the system over winter. Last thing you want is to do all the unions up and start the pump only to find that a squirrel has dumped a bunch of acorns in the heat pump over winter. It also prevents the pipework from sagging and possibly getting stress fractures over winter. We had an issue earlier on this year where there was very little water flow to a wooden pool. Pool pump was running fine and pumped without issue on backwash, rinse, etc. But water just couldn't get through the returns. We took the return fittings out, and the pipework behind the returns was filled with acorns where pipework had been disconnected for an extended period of time and a squirrel had made the pipework its storage area. It was obviously fine over winter, as the pipework was completely drained. Squirrel had easy access. Once pipework was reconnected, those acorns then got pushed to the return fittings and couldn't escape, so they built up until they clogged the line entirely. That is what we try to prevent by making sure that any exposed pipework isn't left open for wildlife to access during winter.
Beautiful work! I was impressed on all levels, most especially with the pool that had the frogs. You take time to preserve life not smother it with chemicals and hope for the best. True testament of where your heart is in the work. I hope the customers will listen well to you and get the covers 🧡🧡🧡
It seems like you make a chemical bath at times but you certainly know what you're doing with pools. Btw, every 'Holla your boi' needs to have your facepic.
What is the advantage of having an electric pool cover vs a cloth/tarp cover? What do you do in the winter months? Does pool work keep you busy year round? I love watching your videos! And I don’t even have a pool.
Question mate - I have a cartridge filter and need to remove a small amount of algae. I have shocked it etc but when I vacuum it up do I have the filter/pump set to backwash or do I just vacuum as normal? Thanks

9:00 Sounds like the customer is a bit of a micro manager, breathing down your ankle, lol!
I appreciate all the work you do man.
the frog swimming in the pool was wholesome
Hammer heads are nice, i do pools myself. I like watching your videos and seeing the different techniques used..
Why'd you YEET those empty bottles into the pool?????
Maybe letting the residual chemicals inside the bottles going into the water thoroughly and no waste or unused chemical inside the bottles?
02:14 I am guessing that is to allow for expansion if the water freezes?

You Guys Work Is Just Wonderful!!
I bet the metal pool looks awesome at night with the pool lights on. But slippery as heck to stand on.
Thx for filming, editing and posting 👍!
No worries 👍🏻
What are the bottles filled with water and thrown in the pool for?
I charge my vac battery to appease my supervisor. I just don't have time to use it. My net skills are fast & furious.

You should somehow get a Timelapse of a pool going from green to clear
do any of your pools have a sand filter with glass media?
I wonder if that was the same frog?
Why do you leave empty bottles in the cleaned pools????
Self documenting what was done before pool close?
Which brush did you use when cleaning the filter at Yanni 's pool? Seems to be a qood one
What's that device left in the last pool in the end?
Who would not have a skim basket net on the skim basket to cellect all the tiny particles ?
Why’d you chuck those bottles into the first pool?
Reminder for spring of what chemicals were used at pool shutdown?
Is your vacuum a different model from the riptide system ?

How come you fill the chemical bottles up and dump them in the pool?
They help break up any ice that forms.

It looks awful
The video not being wide screen is what looks bad. The borders are just annoying.
