If you do have the sheding glitter cardstock, then to protect your mat from the glitter, place some contact paper on the glitter side while it's flipped.
I use that cardstock and never have an issue cutting I don't even need the glitter cardstock setting. With a good blade it cuts clean on cardstock+ with only 1 pass. But ima try upside down!
Hi there. Thank you. i am trying to make Christmas ornaments with snowflake confetti. They are pretty small and intricate. Are there any tips to removing the little snowflakes from the mat? It sticks really well with the standard grip mat and takes a long time to remove each one. They come out really pretty but ooy..it will take years at this rate. Thank you!!

So it cuts thru the contact paper too.?
@Ann Brown it may unless you find the right pressure setting I usually end up cutting through it though.
Just as long as it doesn't tear the glitter paper pulling it off 😂😂
@Ann Brown I buy mine from dollar tree so it is less sticky and then I fuzz it with a towel or something if it feels too sticky.
@Ann Brown and it works best on glitter vinyl not glitter paper... oops details
Great tip. Thanks😊
You are welcome!

Thanks so much for this. I just wasted two cardstock boards. Beautiful ones at that.
That’s a great tip thank you 🙏🏽
You're so welcome!
Cool!! Is this also recommended for metallic cardstock?
Thank you 🙏
Great hack! Thank you.
Thanks for the great tip!
Of course!
Very good! Thanks
Of course!
What if your glitter cardstock is not shed free?
Great information, from one beautiful woman.
Thank you!
Thankyou❤
Of course!
Is it just me but why is this video making you look like a cartoon character? It looks fun.😃
It wont stick to the mat 😢
This didn’t work for me at all 😢
How about Dollar Tree glitter vinyl?
Great question.
I personally hate dollar tree glitter vinyl because it doesn't weed well and also doesn't stick well
Although it does probably help the horrible dollar tree vinyl
Washi setting and most glitter things from the Dollar Tree shed. I don’t place it upside down since it’s extremely thin.
