Vast majority of 465s still in service including a lot of the 565/2 and 465/9s - the displaced batch haven't been scrapped yet and are in warm storage for the time being, so not the end of the road for them just yet!
It never seemed to end! Theres one clip, from about 02:50 which was continuous for about 5 minutes! Its a good job I'm a fan of the 465s 😃 I hope the displaced ones come back, they don't really fit with any other rail operator. Thanks TrainsOnTheBrain!

I must have passed this station over the years on Southeastern including a trip to Hayes, the most recent in October. So New Cross, south east London. The avoiding line are fast trains to and from the Strand based terminus, Charing Cross. There is a new service, an open access operator called Lumo that operates between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh. I will certainly be seeing them while on a railtour to Newcastle in May, beginning and finishing at Finsbury Park.
I love this train content it makes me feel a bit more calm and its local to me because im close to a southeastern stn and i think on 9:32 the 375 was going charing X (im not trying to hate😅) but keep up the amazing content!!
Thanks for your kind comments Leo, my objective is to create content which you can watch relaxed and in comfort (with a few special trains here and there). The pair of 375s were originally destined for Charing X, although being late, it was turned back early. I even made a note of that one on the day! You're also not hating at all! I encourage criticism as it helps to make the channel better and more enjoyable for everyone. 😃
New Cross railway station serves New Cross in south-east London, England. It is 4 miles 68 chains (7.8 km) down the line from London Charing Cross and is in London fare zone 2. The platforms are lettered rather than numbered to avoid confusion with those at New Cross Gate by staff who worked at both stations before privatisation of the stations in 1997. Platform D is used exclusively by London Overground services. Ticket barriers control access to all platforms.
A treat to see my local trains. 707s rapidly being repainted and bought into service right now, it seems like whenever I go to Grove Park they have repainted another pair! This station is a good one for passes on my local line. Does this mean grove park is coming? 😀
I was not expecting to see a 707 on this visit so it was a welcome surprise! Shame that the 707s have replaced the 465/2s since I always thought they were the best. I haven’t filmed at Grove Park yet since I filmed Kensington Olympia on the same day as this. I’ll certainly look into it for you 😃 You know I’ll get round to it eventually, I always do 👍🏻
Nice video! I love New Cross it's always full of trains haha. If you want some freight action on this line you should check out Hither Green (also my local station) which often gets class 59s and 66s.

Apparently Southeastern have 14 Class 707s in service with 16 still with South Western Railway at the moment. But hopefully the rest of the Class 707s should all be with Southeastern by the end of this year. And the SWR Class 701 “Arterios” to enter service by the end of this year.
Canterbury West is the busier station in that area but it depends how your getting there, Faversham, Dartford and Rochester are all solid choices if your travelling by train. Have fun 😃

I still think of New Cross as one of the two termini of the East London Line. As you can see I don't get to London very often.
