So under Lydias video i saw a comment ehich i thought woudl be interesting to share here. Someone found Tinkerbells movement by the end around Wendy too deliberate and the running idea is that she did it to look like she was trying to save Wendy like the other fairies saved the lost boys so it would look like she was trying to dust Wendy in pixie dust and Wendy died because she didn't either believe or trust in the fact she'd fly which is honestly so sinister and DEVIOUS and i love it
I saw another comment that said she was also making sure Wendy landed on her head so she died quickly. "baby won't feel a thing" and if she landed right it would be true.
Also it seems the general consensus is that the fairy we see die in the flashback was actually Wendy's. I also loved the idea someone put forward that she should do a wendy villain song, but have it be a sequel to this, showing her with an eye-patch. the implications of that image is just so dark and awesome.
I love that Lydia uses "darling" in this song, since that's also Wendy's last name, which I think is a fun little play on words: "Wendy, darling, you've picked the wrong girl to fight" vs "Wendy Darling, you've picked the wrong girl to fight" and "Then darling, I'll be coming for you" vs "Then, Darling, I'll be coming for you".
My fav lyric is that 'You need 3 things to fly, let's see you try when I remove mine'. It HITS. Especially if you've watched the Tinkerbell films and Faith Trust and Pixie Dust are like a group chant so it's what you think of when you think of Disney fairies.
The way Tinkerbell flew around Wendy to make it look like she was trying to catch her with pixie dust (like the other fairies were)... Oof. Totally guarantees that Peter will think Wendy was lacking faith or trust. Also, the way she pushes her face down looks so brutal, but honestly, it would increase the chance that her death is immediate rather than her dying slowly from being impaled somewhere else. The artist did a fantastic job.
If you're commenting because you're confused about the sound being weird, that means you skipped the intro. The video you are actively commenting, on explains the very question/complaint you have, if you choose to watch the entire thing
Dunno if others said it already but I'm so happy you noticed the 3 things to fly lyrics but also something I don't see people noticing is that Tinkerbell while wendy falls spins around her and my theory is she does it so people think she tried to give pixie dust but another of the 3 things was missing, the faith, so basically she made it look like she tried to save Wendy but Wendy stopped believing and fell to her death
So, it is an original song, but The Lost Boys throwing rocks and the mermaid's "attack" were canon events that happened in the movie. Tink had been jealous of Wendy and told them she was a bird, and that it was a game to try and shoot her down. Same thing with the mermaids, they told Peter when he rescued her from them that they were "just having a little fun. We weren't going to hurt her." Which is why they look so upset when Peter attacks them back in the video. So, while the song isn't a flip on any of the film's songs, it is a flip on some of the events that took place.
Also, Mortius, I don't know if you noticed this, but when the ship was falling and the other fairies were saving the lost boys, Tink was swooping around Wendy to make it look like to Peter that Tink tried to save Wendy but Peter would think that Wendy didn't have faith or Trust on Tink to save her. :D
You dare make me wait that long, you heathen?!?! Very well, I can be patient. Edit: this is my fav of the villain songs by Lydia, she’s so talented fr fr 💜💜💜
11:26 - So about that non-separation between the E sounds of "necessary" and "evil" - I have come to realize in recent years that this just seems to be something we DO subconsciously when speaking. When we hit words that start with the same sound as the previous word ended with, we tend to just blip them together a bit because forcing the separation between two of the exact same sound feels somehow wrong. This is something I realized when a certain anime had its title written as "LOSTORAGE" and I had to take a moment to try and add a gap between the '-st' sounds of "lost" and "storage" only to find that it was far too much effort and felt grating to do. We don't consciously notice it, but our brains just prefer to blur words together when they would otherwise sound obtuse to pronounce in full.
I'm glad you liked it even with the "distortion", and thanks for the good reaction and analysis as always. I'll also say here since I presume you didn't see it on the video itself (And I presume you won't see it here either), but I won't be able to watch your Hades Town animatics for a bit since I'm actually getting to see it IRL on the 28th of September, but I'll definitely be binging your reactions to it soon after that.
I love this take on the fairy lore. It makes sense and answers a lot of lingering questions I had about the Peter Pan story. Why is Peter so special? Why bring the other Lost Boys to the island? It makes so much sense.
If you like Lydia's music, youd probably love Annapantsu's covers! She does so many like pop songs, hamilton, and other musicals. She has such a great voice and is my favorite youtube cover artist right now. I will never stop recommending her to every reactor because shes amazing!
This actually my first TH-cam premiere So exciting Saw his face and clicked Love his reaction Would love to see him react to all of Lydia Gillian songs (the ones either animatics)
Tinkerbelles song is my favorite. It reminds me of a rivalry I once had against a friend who betrayed me and let me just say this song is perfect and is very accurate as to how tink would react to Wendy stealing Peter’s attention and trying to tell stories of her life back home to the lost boys. It is also very menacing at some points but is very melodic like a siren trying to put you under their spell. Speaking of which I do like how tink teams up the neverland mermaids to drown Wendy at one point but fail I like that inclusivity of the mermaids. Overall the song is amazing and my favorite ❤
you need to watch all of the villain songs, and also her new original songs because they rock. you’ll provide such brilliant insight for them, and also they’re sick!
It would be weird for fairies to view humans as insignificant rather than the opposite, beings of absolute significance. No Fairy could exist without them and none have outlasted a humans life.
Mortius, I don't know if you'll see this so late, but let me offer you some delicious lore about fairies, specifically the brand of pixie from the original story of this book. Fairies can only ever feel a single emotion at a time, however in exchange they feel this emotion to an absurdly extreme degree and the longer they feel it the more extreme it'll get. So fey can lose themselves to a single overwhelming mood, ever spiraling themselves to higher and higher forms of it. Hence in the story Peter pan actually warns Wendy about this very fact when he tells her that she's being jealous. So she frl ever more bitter against humans till she found peter, began to feel content/happy with the boys and when everything is being threatened.... She spiraled into a murderous determination to NOT lose what she had barely safeguarded.

Seriously can't wait for you to react to more of Lydia's stuff, one I recommend is not a Disney villain song, but one of Lydia's original songs, "What Have I Become" it's a ALTA song, with Katara singing, and it's SO good.
This and Mirabel's song are my faves from Lydia. And it's so cool because it's wholly original. Tink & Peter Pan were my first hyperfixation as a kid, so I'm always happy to see them get some love ❤️
you mentioned you didn't watch the tinkerbell movies, but I do recommend checking them out, they're pretty good. Also all the fairies that appear, they all have names, and even the orange dust tink uses when Fawn is dying is something that appears in the movies (the dust).
SORRY FOR COMMENTING THIS ON THIS VIDEO BUT I JUST WATCHED THE WISDOM SAGA STREAM AND I JUST WANNA SAY THAT YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THIS I DEFINITELY WASNT
THe rest of Lydias but you should also check out MilkyyMelodies, they have an Alternate Universe series of songs. Like a villain Isabella Madrigal song. They also have a Villain Dolores Madirgal song and a few other good ones. This reaction was so fun and wonderful to watch. Cant wait to see more.
EEEEEEE I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO WATCH THIS!! I have been listening to this song nonstop for months. I freaking love the lore in it so much, and the art is gorgeous!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do “I Only Paint In Red Now”. It’s another one of Lydia’s villain songs, one of the completely original ones. It has a lot of fun aspects that I don’t see in a lot of songs that would be really cool to see your perspective on! (plus just getting to see your reaction to it in the first place would be cool). Got hooked to your videos after the Six series, and have been absolutely adoring them since (plus going back to watch the stuff from before Six). I hope you have an incredible day!
Caspsias and now Floortius are these two's new nicknames XD (If you don't know what I mean, Casper has a habit of predicting things before they happen, so his name Casper is squished with the name, Tiresias, the prophet from the Odyssey/Epic. Mortius also has a habit of falling to the floor whenever something cool happens, so his nickname is Floortius) :D Your welcome for the explanation.
Both bells and megs villain songs are so good! There probably my two favorite ones that she's done. She also did a cover of no longer you that was really good
Glad to see you react to this. I'd also recommend Villain origin songs, songs meant to tell the beginning of a villains stories. My favorites are Hades and Dr. Facilier (The Shadowman from princess and the frog)
I really hope you continue with these, and yeah, I would go with belle's next. but, if you think you might do all of her villain songs, you can always do them in order. you can see how both she, and her videos, progress and get better over time. but Belle's is one of my favorites, along with Anna's villain song.
I missed the premier because today was grocery day and then laundry day, but I'm so glad you did this one! I think it's one of my favorites from this artist for sure.
The interesting thing about Lydias Tinker Bell idea is all the potential consequenzes of Tinks action of killing Wendy! Tink about it! Tink has NO idea if killing the child of a fairy, would kill the fairy that child is conected to as well, or if it might sever their ties. If it's the first, Tink is willing to couse the death of Wendys fairy just to keep her own friends save. If it's the secound? Well, if killing the kids severs the tie and makes fairies "independant"...what point is there to keeping the lost boys around? Another fun consequenze? Tink might have just signed up for her own funeral by killing Wendy directly in front of Peter. Becouse knowing something is real, is verry different from "believing" in something. And Tink might have just lost Peters trust, friendship, and his believe in fairies. Becouse how could he ever believe in someone who was willing to do something so crule?
I mean within the lore it explicitly is the belief in fairies existing. In a vacuum they definitely can mean two different things, but within the Peter Pan lore it is more believing that they exist rather than believing IN them on a more psychological level. As for Wendy, from what I understand the implication is that her fairy is already dead, as Wendy is very motherly and had to grow up far quicker than her brothers due to their environment. She has a strong sense of imagination, but its directly linked to her motherly nature and, prior to meeting them herself, considered the stories of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell to be just that: stories. So there's a strong belief that Wendy's fairy has long since died (and may have even been either Fawn or Silvermist, since we don't actually have a timeline in this AU for how long Peter and the Lost Boys have been in Neverland)
I would love to see your reactions to Anna's Villain Song (rearrangement), Mirabel's Villain Song Part 2 (original), Merida's Villain Song (rearrangement), Isabela's Villain Song (rearrangement), and Dolores's Villain Song (original), all from Lydia the Bard. She's gotten more out of Encanto than any other. I love her work!
Watching the first reaction at .75 speed make you sound a little drunk and it's hilarious!! I absolutely love the story Peter Pan and this song just fits it all so well!
Mortius, PLEASE give Lydia's new song a go! It's about Alice In Wonderland and I've been listening to it non-stop, its soo good! I know im not a patron but it would be awesome! You're my favourite reaction channel ever since you started Epic btw. I love all your videos and especially your new channel with Casper,! Just wanted to let you know that!
Tink has two options here. She could let Peter, and the lost boys go with Wendy and her brothers back to London, and they would grow up, and stop believing, which in turn makes the fairies linked to the lost boys and Tink herself, to lose their lives as well as Tinks twin sister Periwinkle. Tink and her friends Vidia, Iridessa, and Rosetta have already lost two of the six, being Silvermist and Fawn. The other option is to get rid of the temptation of growing up and the pull to stop believing even if it causes Peter to no longer hold her in the same light as he did when they first meet, he will still believe in Fairies. Some people believe that Wendy was Fawns kid, but that would also mean that Wendy was born earlier than Peter (I don't believe this thought but the two do look similar), as when looking at Peter and Tinkerbell's faces next to each other they do look almost exactly alike. Silvermist is never seen with her kid as it is presumed that her kid stopped believing first. The catalyst for Tink, Vidia, Iridessa, and Rosetta to go look for their kid was the loss of Fawn, as her and Tink were working together to try and find a way to not need a child to believe. Another thing to note is that it is presumed that only the kid that produced the laugh that gave life to that Fairy is able to understand them, which explains why Peter understands Tink, one other human character is shown to have this ability as well. Capitan James Hook, when he was much younger, before he presumably lost his hand and Peter came to Neverland, he had a Fairy, that he could understand named Zarina from the Tinkerbell and the Pirate Fairy movie. Zarina is a dust keeper fairy, that experimented with blue pixie dust, that mixed with the right ingredients could change a fairy's talent. Meaning that if and when Peter does leave along with the lost boys, of Tink (Periwinkle by extension), Vidia, Iridessa, Rosetta, and Zarina, Zarina would be the only one to stay alive, as her human will never stop believing in fairy's. This is a very dark take on Fairy's and especially, for Disney fai characters, but if fits more in line with the original concept of Peter Pan and fairies.
While the backstory and the first murder atempts we're based on the lore and events of both the Tinkerbell and the Peter pan movie, the music was completly original
This is a completely original song, there is no song like this in any of the Tinkerbell movies.
Although the beginning of the song reminds me of “Lost Boy” by Ruth B with how the notes swing around
@@CultOfChaos2107 I gave it a listen. I guess it's similar, but not the same.

@@animepuff80 I recommend Moana's villain song

I really like the villain Anna from frozen, just hits do hard with the lore, the visuals, and the reworking of the music.
I genuinely think you'd love her newest one, the Alice in Wonderland one. That, Frozen, and Brave are probably her biggest standouts.

PLEASE watch ‘Don’t cry for your daughter eve’ it is so amazing
Not sure if anyone commented it, but Lydia said that this is an original song, not a cover!
If I ver made a mucosal, the villain would 100% be played by Lydia
Belle's song is my favorite from Lydia the Bard
THE WIZDOM SAGA IS OOOUUUTTTT
epic the musical
Can't wait for you to react to Lydia's Tale as Old as Time, it's a personal favorite
Love your reaction to these,
You should 100% listen to Lydia's belle villain song
Mortius, theres another! An Alice in Wonderland one!
While the backstory and the first murder atempts we're based on the lore and events of both the Tinkerbell and the Peter pan movie, the music was completly original
def go check out meg, bella, marida(Red head from brave), and repunzal(Tangled)
I totally think he should see more Lydia, plus Annapantsu!
lol i like that it since you accidently somehow slow it down cause then it gives anti-core/daycore (reverse nightcore) vibes and that is epic XD
Sorry that it was slowed down the first time through

The problem with the word parody is that it has the wrong connotations the word you are looking for is filk, And no this is an original song❤❤❤
