Actually, we do have helmet laws but, if you're over 21 and have insurance, you don't have to wear one. But they're never going to pull you over just to see if you have insurance because that's not legal... They'll find something else. Personally, I don't care what the law is, I wear a helmet.
I loved riding the Overseas Highway to the Keys...we did it back in 2020 and it was a blast. We went over 7 mile bridge just as the sun was setting and WOW! And you definitely have to watch out for those Key Deer. Smallest Whitetail Deer species in the US but they are EVERYWHERE!
