    i've met and played a few large festivals where keith was headlining and he's just a spectacularly humble, kind and just extremely naturally-talented musician...he just loves playing and singing with every cell in his body and that's why he's such a GREAT live performer...you do NOT have to be into "country" to appreciate his fantastic vocals, playing and songwriting...

    Such a humble man. I wish I had half the magic in my hands that he does. After 44 years of playing and two brain surgeries I still play but not as well as I use too. Keith, Sir, you are an awesome musician! I love your music, your talent and yes, I am human, I would love to meet you and pick with you some day! Who wouldn't??? :-D

  • @itaintmebabe714

    The reason the Telecaster copy has more sustain is because it does not have the any other pickup besides the bridge pulling on the strings. This is also great for tone. The bridge pickup is most likely mounted straight in the wood (like the original) which drastically changes the tone by this alone (for the better in my opinion).

    • @LincolnFStern

      I didn't think the sustain on THIS one was all that great.

    the point is before there were truss rods the neck had to be huge to prevent it from warping or moving or however you want to say it

    Giovanni you are entitled to your opinion on guitars, BUT as earlier stated some of the greatest rock song /albums. Were played on telecasters. For instance nearly ALL Led Zepplin albums were on telecasters Jimmy Page only played LP's live . Bruce Sprinsteen , jimmy Hendrix played Strats the father of modern rock music. And LP's were primarily produced as a jazz guitar , ala Lester himself so chill out and stop being so rude !

  • @andymullarx6365
    @andymullarx6365 ปีที่แล้ว

    I didn't want to like telecasters but they kept feeling better to play than the other guitars at the stores so eventually I went ahead and got a couple. Tonally they can be a chicken' pickin' instrument or a country twang instrument but with a little ingenuity they'll cover the other genres and their simplicity is appealing.

    Ah, ok. So it more a collectors piece? Not entirely practical or functional but a cool bit of history? That makes more sense because I could not fathom why someone would not want or need as truss rod.

  • @MisterTee
    @MisterTee 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I hope he does a better job if keeping his hands

  • @CamilleJacob
    @CamilleJacob 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    there's no way the neck was made out of pine

  • @higler.
    @higler. 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah, so why would you want that? Increased sustain? Because the playability will definitely suffer. Plus wood can still warp and expand no matter the size, so I would still think a truss rod would be beneficial just in case you do need adjustment, rather than needing a whole new neck. The guitar must be fairly neck heavy too? I mean, this isn't a les paul which weighs tons.

      Me 1; You 0
      For the record:
      In my opinion, the holy trinity of guitars is a Strat, Tele, and Les Paul. Those 3, you get any sound you could ever want.
