how about an option to change one surface material without changing every obj that has the same material? would be nice to not have to go back to BIM software and change every obj to a unique material. for example what if i want walls in the same room to be different colors?

Can you add one material to group of objects, or whole object ( obj with many elements ) ? Now you need to add material one by one to object with many small pieces. Good if you can add shortuts Ctrl V to Paste Material to object.... Animate objects need to precise input - not always you have origin in main point

so true.. it is impossible to add materials if u have many objects. U cant group-select or copy the material.
