  • I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
    I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
    Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

    About 15 minutes in, I'm surprised to see that area logged so bare. Places I've seen logging done in the past, they always leave random trees standing specifically to help keep some amount of canopy and to keep some seeding happening so it can grow back faster.

    • @Delcattiy
      @Delcattiy 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    This isn't as direct as what you do, but I noticed a drainage ditch that was dug incorrectly on my walk to class that creates a huge puddle in the sidewalk and road when it rains. I reported it to the school grounds maintenance division, and within a week they had dug it out properly. Now, even though I didn't do the work myself, I feel a lot of pride and ownership over that new ditch every time I walk by. The feeling was familiar, and I realized it was because that's your whole deal. It rocks. Love your content.

    Dude, love your content. I've noticed that more and more when you dislodge a jam, you'll send the material down the pipe. I'm sure that's easier than pulling it out of the water and throwing it on the bank. But it seems that sometimes sending it down the pipe only hastens another obstruction. Like around 9:30 in this video, you sent a log down the pipe, but it never exited the other end. By the way, I love that you have cameras on both ends. Really cool to watch the water flow.

      Friends of the two say that Rocky knew just what buttons to push to make Bullwinkle go over the edge. Apparently in this row, Bullwinkle was frustrated enough to bash in the passenger door, pushing the car off the road. Rocky's girl confided years later that they were fighting over Rocky riding or flying. BW ended it with, "Now no one rides!"

    The power of large bodies of water is awesome. I always wonder what it smells like. Love the moose coverage at the end. Not seen moose before. No moose in UK unfortunately.

      He has remarked in some videos that "it smells like a fart" -- depends on how much organic matter is decomposing or maybe if there's sewage mixed in 😅🤢

      @ Margaret Parker, I started watching a tv show called North Woods Law. It’s about conservationists(law enforcement)and all kinds of nature. That’s where I really got to see the moose, and fell in love with them. It breaks my heart when they are forced to put them down because of the brain worm disease they get. There’s no cure, so they have to do the humane thing, and put them out of their misery. Btw, we don’t have moose in Texas either. Btw, there’s also a tv show called Lone Star Law that basically do the same thing as NWL. Except our people are called game wardens. Very interesting and educational. Love both shows!

    Watching the moose trot into the lavender sunset 🌆 fabulous !!
    Stay safe and please wear your orange gloves. As I've written before, I cringe when I see you reach bare handed into a culvert. 😊

    I'm listening to this with headphones on, and I keep hearing those mosquitos and thinking they're right by my own ear and jump a little. Little buggers annoying me from across the Atlantic!

    Hey, try Ranger Ready mosquito repellent! It’s the best we’ve ever found. Youlll be happy you did. And here in Minnesota the mosquito is the state bird, so we know.
