    What is 1-1 ? How did you get the value, i.e., (1-1/2.1 = 0.523)???
    Please help 🥺

    • @CivilTutor
      @CivilTutor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      1 - (1/2.1) = 1 - 0.4761 = 0.523

    THANKS SIR, BUT ONE THING I AM MENTIONING THAT LOAD ON BEAM B6 AND B4 DUE TO BEAM B5 SHOULD BE POINT LOAD,BUT YOU HAVE CONSIDERED AS UDL 33KN/M.

    my question is, after we calculate loads on the beam can we use this load for column design or de we have to do another calculation using approximate area method for loads on the column ?

    In case of slab self wt why do we say (thickness x unit wt) and in case of selt wt of beam we say (area ×unit wt) , why dont we use area x unit wt in case of slab too?

    Load due to B5 on B6 will not be UDL as its one end is resting on B6 so it will apply point load on it there.. isn't it?

    Sir if we design 1st slab ..
    For the project of like g+5, g+6etc
    How can we take loads of remaining slabs which is the load transfer to 1 St slab
    Moreover is this for only for ground floor or g+1 ? Pl explain it sir
    Thank you

      The example I have shown here is for a single storey frame to give you the basic idea of how load is transferred in a frame.... I will cover up for multiple stories in a separate video.

    The last page calculation of the rectified calculation is again wrong. Again span of B4 (2.37+1.0) does not match with 3.6M of B1

    • @CivilTutor
      @CivilTutor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Span of B4 = 2.37 + 1 + width of B5 (I.e, 0.23m) = 3.6 m

    In minutes 8.06 , the load on B3 due to slab S2 = WLx/2 right but why isnt it 2.5 cause the length in beam B3 has a length of 2.5 m. should i substitute ( WLx/2.5 ) or is there anything else. thanks a lot for all this knowledge i am just a bit confused. thank you and have a great day.

    • @theandroidguy6032
      @theandroidguy6032 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is one way slab and if the load is example 10kN/m2 The it has to distribute only on two equal beams hence divide by 2

    where did the size of beam and column come from? and do the beams and columns with this size resist the loads u calculated?
    sir make complete video of loads calculations from roof slab to foundation.

      it says "given specifications". So you can find the size of column and beams on the structural plan. But if you are the one designing it you will assume the sizes and solve for the whole design if it will (pass or fail) to carry your loads.
