I never understood why everyone wants the no bezel look. I feel like S9 plus had the perfect balance between bezel and screen. Its like people are literally willing to sacrifice a perfectly fine bezel for an ugly notch just to make their screen like 0.2 mm bigger.
You nailed it dude exactly my thought, I hate the bezeless displays with a notch or the camera cut outs just give me small bezels but don't fuck with my screen real state.

I still have the S9+ and the screen is perfect, and i hate notches and camera holes. (and I'm not gonna upgrade for a long time.)

This phone is an absolute beast. The S10 series really isn't even that much of an upgrade. S9+ is basically identical to the S10+ except for a few features but honestly for as much as you can save buying an S9+ over an S10+ it's a no brainer. Switched from an iPhone 8 to a S9+ and it is the greatest decision I ever made. This phone is an absolute GEM
S9 Plus is perfect in every way.. Wish Samsung pushes the same phone with exactly the same holes and sensors, exact same design, only new hardware and improved cameras..
I want a 2020 flagship that has a 3.5mm slot, physical fingerprint sensor(same position as on S9) and a microSD slot.

Yep. Completely agree. I have an s9+ and I only wish that Samsung would keep sending software updates. I have android 10 now and sadly I know Samsung won't push out updates anymore.

100% agree. I love my S9, I personally think its the best phone I've ever used and I'll keep using it until it breaks. I'm annoyed with Samsung that seems to make phones for 2 years then moves on. I hate the punch out selfie camera, looks ridiculous!

They are not 3d,i am not a hater,but i noticed the speaker on the top is for high and the low speaker is for lows
I still have my S9+ 128GB in titanium grey. Bought a new transparent spigen case for it. It still looks and works brand new. An absolute champ on One UI and never had any stutter/lag issues with it. Pretty much no burn in after 2 years as well. This phone is an actual beast. Can't wait for Android 10. Once the S20 comes out, it'll be difficult letting this phone go.

Such a cool review of a cool phone. And the sound was really cool as well. The presenter is like the coolest ever. And One UI is so cool! And the low price makes it even cooler. Man, people using these phones are so cool! And it charging using USB type C which is like the coolest cable and the coolest connector with so many cool features. Man, just writing this extremely cool reply feels so cool.

Had the S9+ but traded it for the note 10+, and I don't regret it. Got a great deal on it during black Friday, got it for half the retail price.

I tried doing intensive Game test it heat up and I'm starting to feel a little discomfort same with my S9 but a bit more hotter we'll its normal to all phone to heat up.
Glad I found this video.. I'm having a hard time letting go of my Samsung J7 Pro 2018. I dropped it last night and something happened on its screen, though the screen and finger scanner are still responsive there's a leak inside.. a purple one. and it was already spread out on the entire screen. I'm not a fan of the "glastic" features of samsung right now. And I thing this Samsung S9+ will be worth it. Hopefully will last more than 2years..

Even though the phone is amazing and I love it I must say Samsung sucks at software updates, and they only support devices for 2 years of major Android releases which means the S9 won't be getting Android 11, and that's the reason I upgraded my S9 plus 2 weeks ago otherwise I would still be rocking it.
Is there a dual SIM card option? Just to make sure I'm right, I can use a Sim card and a micro SD? Also, is there a photo gallery on the phone, or does it all auto upload to Google?
1. There is a dual sim version BUT you can either have 2 sims at once or 1 sim and 1 micro sd card. You CAN'T have 2 sims + 1 micro sdcard at once.
2. Yes it has it's own gallery app. In my opinion it's much better than google's photos. The native Samsung gallery app also has clpid backup but if you have an sdcard or you get the higher storage variant, you probably won't need it.
One UI 2.0 is on it now, i downloaded it, and it's super smooth!

Hi, mate, android 9 was really bad for the battery. But since updating to 10 and one ui2 it's much better and well optimised as they squished all the bugs out. It's still butter smooth and runs great games. Do the update.

Great review. I sold my S10 plus while I could still get a good price for it and bought a used 256GB S9 Plus for $270 and it’s just beautiful. It has everything I had in the S10 Plus that I sold minus the ugly hole punch cut out. It’s now running on Android 10 2.0.
I considered buying the S20 or maybe a used Note 10 Plus but for me the headphone jack is a must. The quality of sound I get on my S9 Plus while listening with a pair of Apple headphones from my 6S Plus is phenomenal.
All in all I would heartily recommend a S9 Plus for the average user. Though I bought a ‘used phone’ my S9 Plus gives me more than 6 hours of SOT, which is more than I could ask for. It’s the best all round phone from Samsung and is still good in 2020.

Get a refurbished one on Amazon, it's in very great condition except for very TINY scuffs at the bottom, but everything else is incredible. That's where I got mine and it was definitely worth it.

bought a Coral Blue variant for my Bday last Feb and I never regretted purchasing a used one but almost brand new since I lost my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and replaced it with this which is an awesome upgrade Screen and Speaker wise and also One UI 2.0 is not bad but used a third party launcher though to further customize my phone.

Flawless device 👌, I have it for almost 2 years now and seriously it has nothing to envy from all those new devices. Probably if it had a bit more bulkier battery it would've been the best out there. Other than that its still one of the best and it will be for a long time.
Bro, you should update to the latest software update so ur review becomes better, because u gotta know theres a hugeeeee jumpo from pie to one ui 2.0 u dont get anylag or anything and u dong get skip frames on the latest firmware and make it heat less

Google if you like stock Android and quick updates if you don't care about that I would get s9+
The second generation of Pixels has been extremely flawed especially in the screen department. I wouldn't risk to get a Pixel 2 / 2XL now. Chances are you'll get one with a bad display.

Got android 10 on mine and still get quarterly sercurity updates. Love mine to bits but I'm going for the s20 only reason for a better camera. As I'm a photo nut. Plays cod mobile with zero lag it's still butter smooth.

Your s9 plus OS is not updated... i also use my s9plus for 2 years... but if you update newer OS. The camera quality will gone low... it was not as good as 2 years ago... sad reality 😭

I just purchased a new S9. I paid $366 with taxes and shipping. I always buy my phones factory unlocked because of international travel. I just got Android 10 update. Everything runs quick and without glitches.
I have an s9+ and the only thing it feels older is the screen, above 6.5 is my number reaching the 6.9 of the s20 ultra will be fine
My s9 has crazy burn in. There almost 0 whites on this thing. The icons of Instagram are burned and the top bar too. Then has got icons burned in randomly
I had my s9 plus for nearly 2 years and no burn in anywhere!

Man the Galaxy S9 plus is an amazing phone, it has the best form factor, perfect slim bezels without the notch or cut outs and a performance champ, shame that Samsung only supports devices for 2 years therefore I need to upgrade mine, I'm going with the new iPhone SE because I want to go back to Apple but if Samsung ever releases another phone with the S9 plus form factor and newer internals I'll buy in a heartbeat.

Im not a fan of any smartphone brand, but in 2020 i think the best value of money smartphone is redmi k20 pro well at least compared to s9+. But maybe for long term iphone xr still way better, we talk about 3/4 years. Well it's just my opinion in the first place.
