I buy pigtails fresh and smoked and keep them in the freezer. The same with turkey tails; that way I never run out, especially around the holidays. Keep up the great work!❤
Great Content..! I like how you make ur own rub, and u use little to no salt..! 🧂 Thank you for sharing your seasoning recipe..! We will be using it (rub) moving forward..! The Meal Looked Absolutely Delicious 😋
"Terrible Insult" !!! 🔥love it - and it's true @BBQ Southern Style! After watching you for a while I'm making my own rubs - not gonna buy a little bottle of something for $7 bucks or whatever make my own thanks man!
MY BROTHER!! U R THE TRUTH!! I've never heard of pigtails and rice and I grew up on the coast of SC! I live north of Atlanta now and I am sure going to try to find me some pigtails. I'm so making this. Your recipes are the bomb 💣
I can only imagine the taste of this. You really show the simplicity of a good southern home cooked meal. It's not hard to do. I have been making those rice recipes you posted also. Amazing! Thanks.
My mother made this and it’s delicious, mad we didn’t even learn her secrets on how. Making this, hopefully it is close to Hope hers tasted. Thanks for sharing!
I'm pretty new to your channel and I enjoy watching you, you're very informative and easy to follow. I also subscribed. I didn't understand the seasoning after thyme. Is this a basic rub that you can use on all meats? Definitely will be trying this looks yummy.
Thank you. It is a basic rub and can be used on all kinds of meat. Rubs are pretty versatile in general. Everyone selling a rub is claiming to have the perfect combination, but I believe in making it your own, which is why when I explain my rubs in the videos, nothing has to be exact. Make it the way you like it and you have the best rub.
Looks😋 good. This is a nice receipe. I use smoked pig tails in my greens and beans. Do you ever cook pig feet? Can pig feet or tails be smoked on a grill?
Man people have no idea how good pigtails and pig ears are lol…. Even with oxtails that stuff used to be dang near free now it cost $20 a pound. Lol. And don’t get me started on chicken feet.😅sooooo good

I have never seen a pigtail in any store, shop, butcher, Costco or anywhere (I'm in the NE, so that might be a factor/reason)...
They sell them in all the ethnically diverse areas.
