    As an acupuncture student this is the worst description ever for our practice. One it’s rarely painful, two it controls the Qi energy of the 12 meridians of the body linked to the organ system. Those points contain pools of energy that are released upon stimulation that almost kinda tells the body to begin to reset that normal function of that energy channel therefore bringing healing effects to the body by balancing out the 5 elements of the body. Wood (liver and gallbladder), Water (bladder and kidney), Fire ( heart, small intestines, pericardium and triple burner), Earth ( stomach, spleen(pancreas included with spleen), Metal (lungs and large intestine) by balancing out the relationship between these elements acupuncture is a catalyst.

    I've done rmt/physi/chiro with little to no results. One session of acupuncture and conditions I've had for years and felt hopeless would ever be resolved were gone in a single session. I just want to know how it actually works and why it is apparently able to have profound effects on my body.

    I went to two acu sessions with the same gal. Who did she cause major pain, I'll never do acu again! She was sticking needles in me that struck nerves that would send pain shooting down a leg or arm. Then she used this almost cheese grater type device to very firmly scrape my muscles until they were black and blue. Then she used these suction cups that caused some pain, but that wasn't quite as bad as the former two things.

    You guys are severly misinformed... the reason why people are apprehensive about acupuncture is because they hear the word needle and immediately start thinking of a shot. This is a false association because shots you get from the doctors office are NOT true needles.... technically a shot is a pipe, a thin tube with a hole in yhe middle for fluid to flow through... acupuncturist use TRUE needles. True needles have very fine points. This means the head of the needle will actually fit between the epidermis layer cause minimal to NO PAIN..... Shots hurt because the open hole in the center is literally severing out a circular shape in the skin.... so ya that will hurt

    INFO: Accupuncture dulls the pain without medications BUT accupuncture doesn't cure the root cause of pain such as pinched nerve, inflammations or trauma.. Lots of patients keep on coming back regularly with the same issue because accupuncture never deal with the root cause.

      Giovanni maciocia: the practice of Chinese medicine. Plenty of reliable peer reviewed studies, case studies and in depth biomedical explanations as to how and why acupuncture does treat and infact focuses on the root cause. Way better than webMD poorly informed short clip based on assumptions. Like most chapter of medschool text that gloss over acupuncture and are sponsored by pharma but become mainstream talking points in classroom and medical offices worldwide.

      I am not really sure if accupuncture can reinflate a depleted vertebral disc preventing from pinching the spinal nerve root...🤔

    • @TienLungTaoist
      @TienLungTaoist 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @SuperBeetox acupuncture might not be able to completely resolve everything as is the case with most medical interventions. But dealing with inflammation and trauma it is very effective and it's focus is to treat the root cause of disease, be it psych, biomedical, or muscular skeletal. Acupuncturist also use other methods to treat bone on bone issues, such as herbal injection therapies, and even deep needling to damaged joint causeing microbleeding for better tissue regeneration. Its also far from being mythical.
