I’m genuinely confused on how a carpet could possibly get this dirty
Have you seen a real messy-houshold? Especially when pets are present it can get reeeal nasty.
At this point my suspicion is that these cleaning channels have also some kind of... filth fields where they make this mess out of perfectly fine things.
Sometimes he gets them from the dumpster, but often it's from floods.

Honestly I thought this was a piece of rusty old metal at first, like an old war shield. I am amazed to see it's a rug. The different cleansing processes were mesmerizing and quiet calming and satisfying to watch in a strange way.

@@AlfredUnknown Хех! В 90-е наша речушка, на берегу которой мы живем вышла из берегов. Мама все поставила на табуретки, ковры на чердак! Вода не дошла - фундамент высокий. А от соседе по течению, что мы только не ловили😂😂😂. И ковры во дворе потом лежали. Но чистые. Может вода не такая мутная😂😂😂

My bishop gave me a very old Syrian prayer rug, from at least the 17th century, and we thought it was deep blue. So I took it to a professional cleaner in town, and when I picked it up a few days later I honestly thought they had given me back the wrong rug. Instead of a dark navy blue it was a very vivid sea blue, and it had other colors that you couldn't even see before the cleaning. My mind was blown.

Rugs are NOT cheap! I can tell by the design, this ain't no Walmart rug... these types are bought at an actual rug store and quality is above and beyond. I have 2 that are still unfrayed after decades of use and steam cleaning. So yes, this process is WORTH the money, since steam cleaners only get surface level dirt up.
If a particular rug isn't cheap, why putting dirt on it in the first place?

A few points for y'all , it's not a cheap plastic carpet, it's a hand dyed and woven wool rug , it was in a house fire and it is being restored.

I know it happens over years at a time, but I still don't know how someone lets a carpet get THAT filthy to the point where they can't even see it.
the answer is simple: no one does that over years. the people who make this videos make the carpets look like that in less than an hour, lol, so they can film their little fake videos later.

I've cleaned carpets for Chem-Dry for over 15 years. I have never seen a rug like that. It looks like someone intentionally dragged it through mud or soot.

I've seen videos about hoarder's home so now I think it is possible to a rug look like that
@@nananananaanana I've also been in hoarders homes. We turn them down because they typically want us to move their stuff to clean the carpets. We just don't have the manpower or time to do all of that, plus we would have to charge an exponentially larger amount that they won't be willing to pay.
In the hoarders homes I've been in, none of them had carpets that looked like this. Is it plausible?... Yes. I just don't think it's probable, given the nature of their situation. When people come in to remove stuff from hoarders homes they don't typically keep things. A rug like this would normally be thrown away.
@Shawn same here. Worked for Stanley steemer for 6 years and you know right when you walk in. Had a lady who had all marble furniture, from the lamps to her bed frame and we turned that one down because she wanted everything moved.

Whoever made the rug is a beast! For it to withstand that whole process and not tear up or get frayed says a LOT about their craftsmanship and dyeing process. They don't make quality products like this nowadays.
They do, bit authentic hand made Persian or Navaho rugs are very expensive.
