The shock of seeing that red appear on the first blink of Dirt Reynolds! It's criminal how people can throw away a charming little rug like that when, now spotlessly clean, it can continue for many more years. So much wastage in today's world. I really appreciate it that you are never satisfied with 'almost clean'---that gush of water from the centrifuge proves the quality of your work.

Yes it's very soothing to see not only the cleaning process but also the compassion that someone is willing to put into something that will otherwise thrown away thoughtlessly!
I am always amazed that rugs in the condition this one was in can be restored to their original beauty. It says a lot about the quality of the original piece that it can survive to be this nice again. It was a LONG time ago for me, but I could swear my grandmother had a rug with this pattern, although I want to say hers was a rectangular one! So cool to see it so beautifully restored. Intertaining but fake.
It goes from something that I'd be ashamed to have in my garbage in front of my house, and becomes something I'd be proud to have in the middle of my living room. Amazing, as always!
This is literally the most massed produced rug in history. Pretty much every single person on the planet owns/owned one, if not knows someone who has owned this rug.
