I grew up reading tinkle too! I used to devour geronimo Stilton books as a child. I love Sidney Sheldon. The first ever Sidney Sheldon book I read was 'Tell me your dreams' and I had picked it up in a book exhibition during 10th Std.

Sister , your book related videos are really nice , i started from tinkle when i was really a kid but i had 2 comics so i couldnt read that much and english is included in my academics so i eventually got used to it and when i was in 7th grade i started reading big books but actually that made me a book lover , those stories were really nice
My intro to Chetan Bhagat started with the Half Girlfriend book and to Ravinder Singh, with the I too had a love story. I would just finish these books and cry rivers. Then I read all the books of Chetan Bhagat and Ravinder Singh followed by these. Nancy Drew books are also my favorite. This video was nostalgic for me too.😍 Tinkle is everyone's favorite at that time and I even had a monthly subscription to it.
Hi Subha akka. I used to read amar chitra katha comics and books of history, when i was 12-13. My social teacher knows about it. My interest for history because of y teacher and those books. Now i am 17, no matter which profession i select to do when i am old, my mind automatically diverts to Archaeology. Archaeology owns my heart.

I too studied in a English medium school where spoken English is mandatory.. so my another tip for fluency is that I binge watch many English shows.. that made me to improve English a step ahead!

Actually I was as same as you sis,In childhood I used to read many story books used to go Library with my ma sit there for a while and continue to read story books and as days went I just left the habit cuz of series addict😂 and again in lockdown I started to read psychology somewhat like motivational books I loved it and as same I left reading🤦....and after watching this video I've a thought of reviving my hobby back ;) I just loved your today's content of the video love you subha ka saranghe ;) 💜....

You missed HARRY POTTER, MORTAL INSTRUMENTS AND PERCY JACKSON! It was everybody's teen reads. Now Im into Classic like Jane Eyre, emile bronte, jane austin and virginia woolf. Classics are honestly the best genre there is.
