Cool. Just got a 316 so im needing to do service trans and rebush? front axle center pivot and reseal engine if not freshen it and well on 50" deck as right front gauge wheel is partially ripped off and couple more cracks then new blades and bearings and belts and the put on newer hood and grill and dash panel. Yeah a fair amount of work but only paid $600 for tractor 50" deck w/ power flow bagger and 46" single stage blower and off brand large lawn tractor trl
@@outdoorpowerhouse it was my wife’s grandfathers tractor that he bought new in the late 80’s and it’s mowed the same 1.5 acres for over 30 years. We own the property now and the tractor is still holding its own.
The video shows what it took for me. Depending on factors like if you change the filter, let it fully drain it may vary for you. I’d recommend watching the sight glass as I show in the video to avoid overfilling.
Very straightforward, thorough, and to the point. Very well done sir 👏!
Very nice vid, downright soothing.... Making my grandson watch before we do!!!!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for that video. Looking forward to changing my 420.

@@outdoorpowerhouse I'm saving all the JD318 videos for future reference....what a beast it is!
@@fsineni awesome, thanks for watching. This is my second 318, love these older Deere tractors.
Great video. Is there a washer on the drainplug?
Thanks! There is no washer on the plug.
While you have the belly screen off, also grease the U-joints on the drive shaft.
does anyone know the part number to the clear line he was pointing too to check the oil level? i have a 316 and the line broke so it needs replaced.
The for the video, I have the 332 diesel model. It’s a tank.
I'd love to have a 332. I don't see too many around here though.
