- Watch this fantastic CGI short film about finding hope in the bleakest of moments. Two Worlds is a 3D animated short film by Andy Lefton that has evolved over a decade with production taking 5 years, when time permitted. Two Worlds is a story about two opposites coming together out of necessity. The story stays away from the quintessential element of "opposites attract". Having each character be a separate form of life, one being organic and the other mechanical helps drive the plot a bit more.

First off, thanks to CGBro's for posting this. Secondly, thank you all for such kind words! It so appreciated and am happy to have shared this with you. Maybe someone will pick it up as a feature length film :) As for people that dislike it, that's fine. The number of folks that have appreciate this out weigh the small group that have disliked. I absolutely love, love, love this little film - it's beautifully scripted and each time I've seen it, I pick up on something new. The two characters are perfectly imagined and the message of hope and cooperation resonates loudly during a time when we need it most on our little planet. Please, please, please can we have a sequel!!!! 😍
During this time, both in my personal life and in the world, this is a sweet message of surviving together no matter what world we come from.
In a life that is often unpleasant, (and such is the case for me at the moment) it is uplifting to find such little treasures once in a while. This, to me, is a simple message that there is always hope, even in the darkest of times, and I appreciate the work that has gone into this to create such a message.

@Andy Lefton - this was your first short film??!!! That’s incredible. I know this may be many years later but for some strange reason it has only appeared on my recommended list now in 2021. May I congratulate you on a really first rate piece of work. You had me engrossed from the beginning. I love the tragic irony that it appears to be a probe launched from Earth that damages our little protagonist’s ship. Such a well thought out narrative. I first started writing short screenplays (earth based, not sci-fi) many years ago but life got in the way! I appreciate a well constructed story with great beginning, middle and ending. Lovely characterisation. Wonderful work, right down to the credits. Thank you so much for your creation and thank you also to CGBros for posting. THIS kind of content is what TH-cam does best. I saw this short film a year ago, and I came back to comment on it today, because this story and this short film shocked me for a year, I couldn't forget this year, it was so good, so I had to say something. I am immensely grateful to the authors of this video because I had immediate fourth-degree contact with beings from another world and I know that what is shown on TH-cam is very close to reality.

Andy, so sorry it took me 7 years to find/view this. Loved it!!! I think this kind of creativity could lead to a series.
I love these videos. If only professional movie makers had such creativity.
There are so many people out there that have talents so much greater than all of hollywood. Very creative and innovative people. Love to see these kinds of short films this channel provides.

I find this to be so beautiful, upon crashing the robotic form can befriend the living one, they can work together without prejudice and achieve anything, and get rescued as well.
