Never reassemble auto crossbow
Wait until your hypercharge ends and just reassemble spread shot instead
Also never use flamethrower unless you're trying to cheese some damage during pyretic debuffs
Auto crossbow is the same potency as spread shot... and flamethrower is more AoE damage than spread shot spam
@@xeno942 flamethrower is a DPS loss because you aren't generating heat to get into another auto crossbow sooner

Thanks for the video, I recently started playing Final Fantasy 14 like literally two days ago. I’m currently leveling a Lancer and was thinking about going dragoon. But this class look like it’s a BLAST. I am a little scared about leveling it because every other video I’ve seen or reddit post I’ve read says this class is cat shit.
Nah all classes are pretty good and balanced, try out all the classes and see what you like, dragoon has some cool skills in the later levels

Oh I use reassembly with air anchor and not drill but in a dungeon/trial where I don't have air anchor and only hot shot I use reassemble with drill. Is that bad
Odd, have the heatblast skill and did the job to unlock it, however no matter how kany times i use hypercharge at 100 heatblast is always darkened and i cant use it.

Im pretty sure this isn't the place to ask this since it's more of a meme guide, but I just started leveling mch and have an issue. So as a mch in aoe situations, before getting auto-crossbow at lvl 52, my heat gauge is useless right? Even if I have 100 heat there is no reason to use it on hypercharge 'cause it doesn't buff spread shot right, only single target weaponskills? So I just sit there and spam spread shot while weaving gauss round and ricochet even though I have my heat gauge full for 22 levels, from 30 until 52?
Yeah that's about it...It feels really bad and whenever I do it I feel like i'm playing the class wrong BUT from what I can tell that's about right. Just be glad you get an aoe so early on, makes low level leveling roulettes slightly less painful
this is a month old, but im a sprout in ff14 and have been working on MCH. i HATE low level dungeons because like you said, thats all we get. But you wanna spam it because its a huge source of damage, and its slightly better in the lower levels since you only have to weave gauss round in. Just reassemble into machinegun, spam until theres like 2 guys left, then just spam the hypercharge and delete one guy for your team. I notice i get a lot of commendations as a machinist, and i attribute that purely to the damage output loll
Confused on the good ping and high ping do I use the high on boss fights?

Just go for it, machinist is super fun once you get the hang of it
