Instead of using a diffuser lense on an led you can just grab an old light, and paint the chrome reflector white. It’s makes a nice even light with no bright spots.

5:36 I had a leaking transmission from a small crack in the housing once and I took a carbide bit in a grinder to grind a 'V' in the crack, clean the metal up really well, and then JB weld. Typically there isn't any pressure on these kind of leaks, and those go away fairly easily with cold weld epoxy.

This summer I bought a 78 15' camper. The guy I bought it off of told me that it had a leaky roof. I asked him if he tried to fix it. He told me he just parked it on an angle and the water would just roll off and so he didn't have a problem with it. I bought 4 cans of white Flex seal and I went over all the seams on the roof. I sprayed and let dry and did 4 coats. Then I painted the whole roof with roof paint. The Next week I was camping at East Harbor State Park, near Sandusky Ohio and extreme thunderstorms rolled in. The trailer was flat and plumb and not one leak. Thanks Flex seal and Tractor Supply RV Roof Paint!!!

Welded in new rocker panels, and the the colour match was a tad off, not horrible, but not as close as we'd like

Thing about stress cracks in cast aluminium is that they travel and progress over time with vibrations and bumps etc, especially in a vehicle. Best thing would'a been was to clean / tig weld that little spot and heat shield the surroundings to avoid damage. We used to do it on engine blocks and heads.
