We're gonna Have ONE sound play that will compress another sound.
So when you WALK the sound of your footsetps will compress the BACKROUND MUSIC.

Cool tut bro, one question. I notice when you have the audio increase level at footsteps stopping, that the sound comes right in. Is there a way to delay that? You know, so it smoothly transitions.

Actually it works only if you foot step SFX is short and has constant loudnes. But if you need slightly reduce loudness of the music depending on the level of some continues SFX you need to implement real side chain compressor with the help of submixes and submix chain effects.
