    Just a heads up for anyone that ran into this issues - if you are using Sound Ques, you need to set the sound class within the individual sound que. The sound won't adjust even if the individuals WAV files within the que are set!

    Awesome tutorial, helped me do exactly what I wanted! I collapsed everything to some functions which really cleaned it up as well.

    A bit late to the party but this video helped me a lot. I didn't copy the whole thing, but it gave me the basic idea so I could make my own setup. Thanks so much!

    For all of you who face the problem the it won't load saved settings, check if you've connected Array Index and Selection nodes in the Apply code and Level Brueprint code. Pay attention here 10:01

    If I use this for ambient sound and set the volume to 0 it mutes the sound forever even after increasing volume can't hear the sound again.

    I cant connect up the cast save to the get sound volume. It says that the object class isnt right one. I just couldnt find any options to set the object class on the get Sound. Also I cant seem to find the set settings even without the context sensitive.

      never mind it works cus i was calling the load game logic in the player base bp and instead you have to do the loading logic in the main menu level bp so it literally runs before everything in the game

      @@KaioMkun Honestly you should load it from the game instance with event init.

    Hey, I just followed this tutorial and unfortunately it didn't really work. I am setting this in Main Menu and later on when going into the actual level it does not do anything although i have added the level bp nodes into both, the main menu level and the actual game level. Also I am having the same issue other people commented about that leads to buttons going back to the default value when it's not changed. Does anybody maybe have a solution for this?

    So just curious, but if you have a multi player game , or multiple maps wouldn't doing this in the level blueprint be a bad idea ,as you would have to do this in every level individually, and if its multiplayer wouldn't it just see you as the same player regardless of settiing an index as index is only used for multiple player on same screen?
    Also if you run a dedicated where would be better to encapsulate the settings save in the player character? Or keep it in the individual player widget ? Or would the game mode for your server map be a better place 🤔

    • @ItsMeBro
      @ItsMeBro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The console command only effect the player launching them.
      If you launch a command and change a setting, the setting is changed for all levels.
      Where you store these functions is totally up to you.

    • @TheTrifel
      @TheTrifel 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ItsMeBro I figured it should only matter to the instance or player using it , I do have a issue with it treating each player as the same player when opened as host listen and client , where if you change it on one player it changes on the other ,not actively but the widget ui itself and on booting it loads both players with the same presets, not sure if I missed something or just got an issue with using it in the player character begin play or if it's just a editor issue and I should package and try it on separate systems
      Got to mess around some more and figure out where I'm wrong 😆
      If I tried to set it in the level blueprint for my server map it crashes out and won't even load the client

      @flom6140 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheTrifel It's normal to get the same settings for each player you launch on your pc. It's only because the file you have created is located in your project folder (at Saved/SavedGames/(thenameofyoursettings).sav). So if you launch your game on different pc this tutorial will work. Sorry for my bad english btw :').

    This doesn't work anymore, especially saving and loading settings, I had to follow some nodes that some guy in a comment section posted, because it didn;t wanted to change audio volumes on 4.26 unreal engine version. Also slider is working only when you are currently in that widget, but when you close that widget and return to that widget again, the slider is broken...

    Here's a request: Machine Learning AI, character rotates when you look around with the camera (for example, my character is a rolling cube, I don't want the rotation to be affected by the rolling rotation, it should only be affected by the left and right rotation) OR Jumping! Pleasse!
