    Who do you use for factoring?

    Agreed. I've never understood why people would take the risk, effort, expense and sacrifice of owning a truck and then operate as if they aren't the owner.
    Anyway, good numbers this week.

      TCS. I use APEX for factoring and they are partnered up. Makes it easy to pay after every invoice.

    Employees will never be anything other than that! They don't want to see you or anyone else do what they can't.

    Can you explain what fuel discounts you are receiving! Your video's deserve more likes and subscribers.. You breakdown numbers and you have the experience as a company driver ,lease on and now as a carrier to give your views somewhat of a eye view of what's on the other side . Keep up the great work..

      I have a TCS fuel card. I can use it almost anywhere. I'll have to try to do a more in depth video on my "fuel philosophy" lol. Even with my own authority I can get fuel cards thru the mega carriers also

    how do you find 2000 dollars on power only loads. the power only loads are horrible on the load boards and I have tried all of them. they pay less than 2.00 a mile. What am I doing wrong. at this point. I am sinking becauseof athe fuel and low loads on the load board.

    • @steadytrucker
      @steadytrucker  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a real struggle right now. One of the reasons I stepped away from it for a bit. I was constantly on every loadboard. I'm in a bad area so I usually ended up deadheading a bit. Hard to make a profit when fuel is high and rates are down. People usually end up trying to get as many miles as possible but then maintenance goes up. Hustle and pray, lol.

    When ( THEY )say you can't make money at a company the way you want, ( THEY ) are telling you the truth according to ( THEIR ) limited view. When you see the best efficent and profitable way for ( YOU ), that route generally leads to getting your own authority. At that point you are operating where ( THEY ) can not see....

    • @steadytrucker
      @steadytrucker  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends a lot on where you live. You just don't know until you've actually run someone's loadboard for a while but you have companies like F2F who let you use any loadboard. Too many guys sign on with a company and just stay no matter what.

    Man that's great! What is the main app you use to pick up loads? DAT? I'm power only new O/O. 2 and a half months already

    Doesn’t landstar have lots of loads going your way, just got to give them 35% to do it, I the way you do it, so much freedom!

    • @steadytrucker
      @steadytrucker  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was at Landstar for a couple years. I liked it but was still limited with their loadboard. Lots of extra rules that had nothing to do with DOT. Can't beat this freedom
