Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Just connected with your channel too! It was a beautiful place, my only regret is not getting some aerial shots with my drone - the place would have looked even better from up above! Thanks again.

Sorry bud. But that’s reiss beech reiss bay. Not the pentlandite Firth that is between orkney and tge mainland of Caithness.

Hi Alex, thanks for your comment. I've rewatched it and I'm pretty sure that's what I say. I was referring to ships sailing across the Pentland Firth and encountering bad weather - that's when they navigate down to this bay for refuge. However I called it Sinclair Bay, which seems to be the official name for the area. I have searched for some information on Reiss Bay but can't find any, I'm interested to read up on it if you send me a link. I can see there's a village called Reiss not too far away but can't see the name referenced anywhere else in the area. Thanks again for the information, I enjoy learning about the places I've been and so if I'm wrong I like to correct the record. Thanks for getting in touch!

@@MattWhitingsEurope ok bud thanks for getting back to me. Enjoyed the video very much. I lived in wick for 11 years absolutely loved the place. Go back once or twice a year to see friends and my partners family. Take care. 👍

The bay is not called Reiss Bay, although the beach is Reiss Beach. The bay is Sinclair’s Bay.
