This is brilliant, so glad that i came across your channel, we're hoping to do the NC500 this year and visit plenty of castles, ruins and places and your video is exactly what we were looking for in some inspiration. Great video, loving the views and all the information, great channel! New fan of the channel! Thanks for sharing :)
Thank you very much, the NC500 is amazing - no doubt about it! You're going to have a wonderful time no matter where you chose to stop along the route!!
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Just connected with your channel too! It was a beautiful place, my only regret is not getting some aerial shots with my drone - the place would have looked even better from up above! Thanks again.
*👍 77 👈 up for this ineresting Video Clip ... I am realy enjoed your explaining of this area 😎 👌 ... wish you a good start in to the new Week and send warm greetings with a sunny smile 🤗 from Germany 🇩🇪 EDDY ☘️👋👋☘️*
Hi Alex, thanks for your comment. I've rewatched it and I'm pretty sure that's what I say. I was referring to ships sailing across the Pentland Firth and encountering bad weather - that's when they navigate down to this bay for refuge. However I called it Sinclair Bay, which seems to be the official name for the area. I have searched for some information on Reiss Bay but can't find any, I'm interested to read up on it if you send me a link. I can see there's a village called Reiss not too far away but can't see the name referenced anywhere else in the area. Thanks again for the information, I enjoy learning about the places I've been and so if I'm wrong I like to correct the record. Thanks for getting in touch!
@@MattWhitingsEurope ok bud thanks for getting back to me. Enjoyed the video very much. I lived in wick for 11 years absolutely loved the place. Go back once or twice a year to see friends and my partners family. Take care. 👍

Thanks Alex, yes I enjoyed visiting too, place had real character. All the best!
The bay is not called Reiss Bay, although the beach is Reiss Beach. The bay is Sinclair’s Bay.
