That's the very cheapest you can go with this build. It's ridiculous.
And it's not like yiu can order from Ali Express.
Our country made sure that we can't order anything online by implementing extremely unfare VAT and import tax, as well as some other expenses.
A 400 dollar worth graphic card that you order from abroad would cost at least 550 dollars after taxes. That's at the very least, IF you get it in the end. You might not. Our custom has sticky fingers.
The monopolists are well aware of all that, so they'll price that same card at 530 or 540 dollars in stores.

I saw this video and figured why not pay the extra $100 to be able to play literally any game I wanted in 1440p. This will be my first build and I'm super excited to put this beast together. Hey, this video is 3 months old so i dont know if you'll see this, but when i put these parts into pc part picker, it says that the cpu and motherboard are not compatable, is this an error in pc part picker or am i doing something wrong?

    • @burkeychathouse5537

Depends on what the error is. But it is most likely a pc part picker error.

Had to go to Amazon, NewEgg, and Walmart to get the items listed in your build. Even doing that, at least one item was backordered. Price came to $824 (Amazon wants to charge $7 shipping, no one else does). Maybe this video drove the prices up a bit.
Btw: For a non-esthetic build, it looks good.

this is kind of insane to see I built my first ever pc less than 2 weeks ago for about 1200 bucks and this build seems pretty similar. I used THE EXACT SAME GPU it's absolutely amazing I do have an upgrade on every other aspect. 7700x nzxt h6 flow 32 gigs ddr5 and a 2tb ssd. this kinda makes me pissed thinking I overspent at the same time I'm very happy with my build and it looks amazing, one thing to note i spent more but will have way more years of upgradability in the future so maybe worth.
