Hi 👋 I just tried and it’s so delicious !! Thank you! Can you put the European quantities too? Please, last time I baked one of your cake and I did it wrong, it like water 😂 Can you do the burek too? With meat and with cheese? Pleaseeeee
Yes I do have a restan krompir recipe for you. It can be found on my website: sloveniankitchen.com/blogs/news/traditional-slovenian-christmas-meal?_pos=1&_sid=29e7b91fd&_ss=r Žgancini will be sharing in the New Year! Dober tek xo
My grandma made something similar it it did not contain eggs and it was dried in the oven after. We then ate it in a owl with coffee poured over. I'm curious if it's just another version. I honestly can't find her exact recipe anywhere.
Yeah, I'm slovenian and i agree that it's austrian.... The only difference is that in slovenia we usually scramble it like eggs (which just makes the schmarn worse, but we do it that way for some reason)
Definitely need to make this.
It’s so easy to whip together and really delicious! My mama made this for us all the time when we were small. Dober tek xo
Yum. haven't had it for about 40 years. i'll give a go making it. Thank you.
My pleasure enjoy. Let me know what you think 💗
A breakfast favourite at our house. I liked it with a bit of sugar and cinnamon and some canned peaches on the side.
Mmm yes peaches! So good

I've been eating this my entire life and now my granddaughter makes it
However daughters and granddaughters call it pancake cereal.
Aww that is so sweet. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Pozdravljeni..a bi lahko prosim naredli Express Rulado..hvala

My mom would skip the sugar in the smorn and then we would have it with saurkraut and ground beef on top. My kids love it.
Oh wow that’s interesting. I will have to try that ❤️
Would you be able to make “restan krompir” or zganci?

Do you think that maybe she dried bread cubes and then poured coffee over it?
@@SlovenianKitchenbyMichelle yes. That's what she did. Interesting.
My dad like to eat it that way too.
I think there’s a booth at open kitchen I. Ljubljana that makes and sells this
Awesome 🤩
This is an Austrian Kaiserschmarrn!

@@JanMilavec sometimes we do this in Austria too, depending on the mood…😉
My husband's family (been in the US for a while) calls these "ganchas" and they dip them in hot chocolate.
Wow that’s so different. I will need to try this next time!! Yum!!
