The best version of understanding EKG/ECG rhythms! Thank you so much Dr. Sharon!😍 And I had the best laugh at PVC with you saying "I'm gonna fire it, darn it! No one's stopping me! I'm maaaad!"😂
I struggled so much with understanding ECG rhythms. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it was very easy to understand! I will be sticking with your videos to help me prepare for the nclex.
Thank You so much Dr. Sharon, I really love the ECG review videos. its so helpful, very concise and to the point, which we really need according to the exam point of view.
Thank you Dr.Sharon it really helps me understand the ECG . Very helpful and thank you for the time you take to make these videos really this how i study by watching them.
Helps me remember too that Cardizem which Dr. Sharon mentioned is a calcium channel blocker, and calcium works primarily at the atrium. Potassium works primarily at the ventricles, hence amiodarone is preferred med for ventricular dysrythmias

Oh dear! I am so sorry :)
Thank you So much!!! DR Sharon
might have written this down wrong but I thought Cardizem was preferred over Amiodarone if we had both (heard in the a fib/a flutter video)
In atrial rhythms yes, but in this specific case amiodarone because of dual atrial and ventricular dysrhythmias.
Helps me remember too that Cardizem which Dr. Sharon mentioned is a calcium channel blocker, and calcium works primarily at the atrium. Potassium works primarily at the ventricles, hence amiodarone is preferred med for ventricular dysrythmias

The v tach to v fib looked like torsades to me. But I understood it.
I can be tricky, but torsades is a type of vtach with variable heigths of the waves.... there is still a type of pattern.
very helpful
