Drawing up a 7th dose from the Pfizer Cominarty Multi Dose Vial

This video is for healthcare providers who are delivering vaccinations, who want to ensure not only is no vaccine wasted, but ensuring they get as many doses they can into arms.
If in Australia and ordering your supplies through CVAS - when you order your Pfizer doses you will only be supplied with the number of 1mL syringes and dead space 25g needles that matches your order.
If you order 300 doses (50 vials), you get given 300 syringes and 300 needles. If you managed to draw up a 7th every time, you will run out of needles and syringes, to make sure you place an extra order for consumables, or order more through your own medical supplies provider.
This can yield an extra 13% doses, which really helps and is encouraged by the RACGP.
