I never thought of Danny's little "start moment" being bad as a kid lol. As an adult, I now realize what he did wasn't okay to Darla but this is one of my favorite scenes.

What he did was a dickish move, that isn't argue-able, but these actions help move forward a movement that animals are just as important and talented as humans (in the movie). So basically that asshole action spawned a good lesson in the end. Also Darla is insane. The reason she didn't freak out in the first place was because she didn't want to ruin her image. Her reputation/image is the most important thing to her. You can't excuse her actions and who she really is as a person
