Awesome reaction. I'm waiting someone want reaction to this song. Lovebites have a many great song. Hope many reaction again to Lovebites. Thankyou very much.
Miyako primary instrument is piano guys))) all these girls can play multiple instruments to a level beyond imagining. She held a guitar for the first time when 18, you can't imagine what she can do on a piano...only impressed with her guitar skills)) she is phenomenal...
Wait until you see Holly War live, Swan Song live, Scream for me live, Hammer of Wrath also live, every song is PERFECTION (they destroy it LIVE). Imagine Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Blind Guardian all together. Thats what they are-best metal band in the world right now. They play heavy metal, power, thrash, progressive and all of that is amazing. And yes, every song has dual solo and shredding that puts all male metal bands in shame. These girls are above all metal bands today. You aint see nothing yet haha
This is one of their slower, tamer songs. They also have a ballad called Epilogue which is one of the best ballads in the past 20-30 years. Miyako plays classical piano, guitar, acoustic guitar, bass and drums, sings and composed half of their songs. Asami singer plays piano, Midori plays guitar and piano, Miho who is the band leader plays bass, guitar and drums, drummer Haruna who is 4"10 I believe plays drums, guitar and bass, so yup they are definitely the most talented group out there right now. Oh and they do overhand dual guitar tapping in perfect sync while on catwalk looking all glamorous. Them and Band-Maid sure deserve way more recognition than what they have right now.
Mega reaction to mega band because is difficult song of Lovebites and probably first reaction of it. If about vocalist "she's a beautiful singer" ASAMI - name of her means in English "morning beauty".
Miyako started piano at 3 years old, then switched to guitar at 18. She's now 30. All of them are multi-instrumentalists. Miho the Bassist also drums. This song is great because you hear Miyako and Miho's vocals backing Asami. It takes me back to my teens in the 1980s. It reminds me a bit of Vixen.
Thanks for this info on the band! I just discovered them a couple months ago. I'm 49 and this music takes me back to my Metal love as a teen in the 80's. Right now, Lovebites is like all I want to listen to...these ladies are amazing!! Do you have any other info on Asami, Haruna and Midori....like how old they are and how they started out in music??? I would really appreciate an info you might have or how I might be able to read up more on the how they got started. Who knew all this amazing Metal and Rock was coming out of Japan!
I can tell you that the drummer Haruna and the bass player Miho started in a group called Destrose (there are a couple of videos of their songs here on TH-cam just search Destrose). Destrose was also an all-female heavy metal band that never got much recognition on their own, but they spawned some great musicians who went on to form groups like Lovebites, Mary`s Blood and Fate Gear.
miyako is simply one of the best musicians on earth. as amazing as she is on guitar she's even better on the keyboards and writes just about all of their songs. too much talent for me to handle. and quite the beauty on top of it all. it just ain't fair ! best band on earth. miyako and midori's solos are legendary. just about every song on 4 cd's over the last 4 years have similar face melting solos- best team of axe players out there. synchronization is perfect - and damn this is live ! all of these ladies are trained musicians and it shows. all are veterans of previous bands and can be defined as a supergroup imo. i call them the supermodel samurai shredders !
Yeah guys Lovebites the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment. They are the winners of 2018 in category for best new metal band, and their last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. You have to check some songs from their last concert Five of kind in Zepp Diversity Tokyo from this year. Songs like Thunder vengeance, Holly war, Dancing with the devil, Swan song ( but extended version with Miyako's piano intro video is 8 minutes long). And if you want to see more guitar harmonies just check songs, We the United, Shadowmaker ( live version from Five of kind in the 2020) Signs of deliverance, Rising. All the concert is mind blowing stuff. Enjoy it
*I don't care whether she sing in Japanese accent whatsoever, I love their music. I dare to say that they are better then Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden cannot play double paddles. This is heavy metal with Japanese style...*
The exrpessions on Travis' face every time Miyako slays it on piano or the guitar are priceless! Hilarious but at the same time showing the extent of admiration for these girls' amazing talent!
I also strongly recommend one of their earliest songs 'Scream for Me'. Midori, (the guitarist with blond hair and playing the ESP), only started to play guitar at 20, she is now late twenties. Miyako, the only band member open about her age is thirty. You probably did not notice that they all (except the drummer) play in 4inch high heels ! Miyako who is playnig the Dean also plays a mean bass and composes more than half their songs and writes the arrangements for guitars, bass, piano and drums. Quote from an interview with Lovebites before their first gig outside Japan in London in late 2017. Journalist: So, originally there were four of you, and then Mi-Ya (Miyako) came and joined. Now that she’s not here, you can talk about her behind her back, what has she brought to the band? LOVEBITES: So in terms of creating music or arranging, she’s really talented in that. So in the process of creating the music, her presence is really huge. She was almost like a member even from the start. So without her, there wouldn’t be any LOVEBITES.
These ladies are the real deal. Lovebites are, in my humble opinion, the best Power/Thrash Metal band on the planet right now. They are incredible, particularly live. If I may suggest a couple of reactions from them for you guys, try Thunder Vengeance Live or Holy War also live, both from the same Tokyo concert early this year. I really like your reactions, and I am really enjoying discovering your original music ( You Reap What You Sow and Last Man Standing are amazing tracks ). Keep up the great work in everything you do, got a fan in me. Cheers
@@marcelopinheiro5557 this song is but other sons suchvas break the wall thunder vengance are thras butvthen they can come up with a song that transitions between thrash and power metal all m in the same song
Lovebites is an awesome power metal band and they really shine in their live performances. My next suggestions are “Thunder vengeance”, “Swan song”, “Dancing with the devil”, “Break the wall”, “Hammer of wrath”, “Shadowmaker”, “Signs of deliverance”, “Epilogue” and “Edge of the world”. All of them live (avoid “Bloodstuck” concert because of bad audio.
All these women play different instruments but Miyako is a concert pianist level performer and master shredder and harmonizer with Midori on the other guitar. Lest we forget Haruna the 4' 8" battle beast on drums driving this band from start to finish. This is typical for these women, complicated chords, shredding and harmonizing and at speeds that are insane and flawlessly done, NEVER a mistake!!! Simple, do them LIVE to see what they can really do as they are the best Power metal band right now bar none and they have only been together 3+ years. Another piano/shred song is Swan Song from their 2020 concert check it out and hear Miyako play like a world class pianist then shred it up with Midori before going back to the piano. Miyako now has her own custom Dean guitar, hey but Midori is just as epic although more flashy. Asami the bluesy vocalist has gotten so much better especially LIVE and a great front woman for this band. Great reaction and I love the faces and open mouths during this song, you guys are one of the best reaction channels going !!! Miho the bassist and Haruna came over from the great Destrose band but wanted to do more of a European metal sound (Iron Maiden/Judas Priest mixed with Dragon Force but brought to another level) with English vocals...task accomplished!!!!
Great reaction video! There’s a band from Portland, Oregon called VINTERSEA who deserve some of your attention. Their video ‘Befallen’ would be a good place to start!
Nice, glad you dug it. At 18, with 15yrs experience, she nearly chose a classical piano career. But picked up guitar instead, just over 10yrs experience in this vid. I love that this show was only ~14months after their live debut (in London, always in English, they’d been prepping a year tho). Their 2020 show was a full year “better”, you can tell. Can’t wait to see if we get next, if ~2.5 yrs this past feb was nearly perfect, how will they be when they tour their upcoming 4th full length in the states a year from now?! And remember, this is their idea of a ballad. Try their Whitesnakeish Dancing with the Devil live, or symphonic Slayerish Thunder Vengance, maiden Crusade, unique Holy Wars, Helloweenish When Destinies Align, classicalish Swan Song, progish mood twister Under the Red Sky... Enjoy 🤘💃🏻🎸😎 Or Hammer of Wrath (megadeth?), or Break the Wall (80s Metallica plus GaryMoore of ThinLizzy), or a true ballad Epilogue... they’re all good I guess 😉
The talent level coming out of Japan of these all-female bands, is insane. Nemophila, Band-Maid, and Lovebites. all 3 bands are top notch. All are insanely talented. I was asked recently how to describe Lovebites. The only thing I could think of was, they are Heavy Metal Opra.
Lovebites is just exceptional and indeed phenomenal. Their individual skills are scary good, but of course one of the biggest highlight is the double shredder Mido-Miya. Haruna the drummer is the smallest of them all, sometimes it looks that she cannot reach the higher parts of her drums (lol) but she slays the drums like nobody's business. Thanks for the reaction, do more Lovebites please!!
I love seeing reactions like this to my favourite new band in at least the last 20 years, because that's exactly how I was the first time I saw a Lovebites video. Slack-jawed and open-mouthed in amazing, not able to look away for a second. They're such an incredible band, every song is excellent. Enjoy the ride!
This is one of the mellower songs reminiscent of 70's Metal, please check out our more of these talented girls + Lovebites ( Power / White Metal)🤍 1. Daughters of the Dawn ( Live at Tokyo) 2. When Destinies Allign 3. Rising
I'd love to be able to see them live, and there is no doubt if I was told I could meet one of the band members but only one Miyako would be my choice without hesitation.
Probably not the heaviest song from Lovebites but I still love it. It's the rock/hardrock side of lovebites (mostly they play power metal & thrash). "IF" you like Lovebites songs like this, maybe you also like "Lovebites - Dancing with the devil". Check out other lovebites songs: thrash metal: break the wall, the hammer of wrath power metal + great guitar solos: holy war, we the united, shadowmaker
This is the extended version from the original and what an intro. They never disappoint at all levels. If you want to see more of Miyako on the piano check out Swan song or Epilogue pure talent like it has never before seen
Yay!!!! I've been urging you guys to do more Lovebites since your reaction to "When Destinies Align." Like Band-Maid, they are one of the rare groups that are even better live. You could have asked a bunch of comic-book artists to design a band of alien superheroes, disguised as beautiful women who use music to battle darkness, and they could not have come up with this. It's really insane. Loved the looks on your faces as they kept upping the ante!
The reason I think this is good is that it shows off the great talent of the band members. It shows all the members being able to shine. It shows off Miyako's musicianship being able to play piano and then jump on guitar, the harmonised solos and Asami's beautiful voice clearly. I absolutely love the thrash stuff too, but I sometimes feel those thrash songs drown out Asami's great voice
here i go again trying to get endless reactions on my favorite band. you will see many recommendations for a lot of songs from them. and i would say don't pass up any opportunity to be melted. this and the song M.D.O. are my 2 favorites from the clockwork cd. but 2 songs you really need to see and hear are also live versions. start with 'scream for me' to see some of their best guitar work that you won't believe. then try 'signs of deliverance' for more of the same. and 'we the united' is another winner. and if you want to see miyako really kill the piano the long version of 'swan song'. all live . we the lovebitten will keep you very busy.
This is one of my favorite reactions on TH-cam. The band is amazing and you captured your emotions and your thoughts perfectly. Well done and do more Lovebites please! Greetings from Greece!
Subscribed in the name of Lovebites! Haven't seen this posted - a totally different first time experience when you can follow the lyrics clearly (startin' when the guitars kick in): Memories I can't erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won't become a doll you control I'm losing sight of me I'm losing sight of you I'm losing sanity and I don't know how I will go on Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth Rendezvous, without emotion or heart I won't show how weak and sad I am inside Even though I know it's just silly pride Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I'm waiting for the dawn I'm waiting for the time I'm waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on Memories I can't erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won't become a doll you control I'm losing sight of me I'm losing sight of you I'm losing sanity and I don't know how I will... You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I'm waiting for the dawn I'm waiting for the time I'm waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on
The entire band is PHENOMENAL, and the Midori & Miyako show are the BEST One - Two punch in modern Metal today!!!~ They're on another plane of existence!
Just FYI, Miyako has a BA in Music Education on the Piano. She has 26 years of classical piano training as a concert pianist. Her primary instrument is the piano.
I so hope these ladies can break the international barrier, I have a feeling that they will go very far if they do. It's not easy for Asian bands to do that, but a few have such as Chthonic, and Crossfaith so it's not impossible.
Those girls are for sure aliens disguised in humans ...They are not from this worl ....or mabe or when they were born instead of the pacifier the families gave them the guitars the piano the drums a bass and a microphone in hand .. they are incredible i love them... incredible it's a poor word to explain how good they are .
If you want to see more of this amazing talent. I recommend Epilogue Live from Daughters of the dawn concert. They have a lot of powermetal songs, but I actually prefer "the other songs" they have even more. Also other great song is "Under the red sky" from daughters of the dawn concert. For more piano stuff: Swan Song with piano etude
Funny you watched one of the softest songs they ever made! ;) Midoris and Miyakos guitar synch is sick. And it is there in most songs. I prefer the thrash tracks, but they can really do beautiful songs too. Honestly this is not my favourite, because its a bit too much "singalong" =D Even the less good songs are good, since they have not made a bad song... To me, the best of this one, is the soft beginning
In case you haven't heard of these other ones, i highly recommend you check out DOLL$BOX, Aldious, and Nemophila, All female bands from Japan. You WILL love them all!
The Japanese are a people that don't do anything by halves. For the vast majority of them, whatever they do, they put their heart and all their effort into it.
Mistakes were made by not making Holy War your first exposure to them lol. I absolutely LOVE Empty Daydream, it's one of my favorite songs by them, but Holy War Live is next level. It shows off every single member flawlessly. Best solos that they have, best bass fills, best drumming, best display of vocals hands down. Yall should definitely still react to Holy War Live at some point!
I really like both of you looking the video with the mouth open, really funny. Anyway these ladys are faboulos. You must try Epilogue, sure you will stay with your mouth big open !

Not to mention singing back up vocals
The piano piece that Miyako plays in the beginning is Sergey Rachmaninoff's Moments Musicaux No. 4 , from 1896.

here i go again trying to get endless reactions on my favorite band. you will see many recommendations for a lot of songs from them. and i would say don't pass up any opportunity to be melted. this and the song M.D.O. are my 2 favorites from the clockwork cd. but 2 songs you really need to see and hear are also live versions. start with 'scream for me' to see some of their best guitar work that you won't believe. then try 'signs of deliverance' for more of the same. and 'we the united' is another winner. and if you want to see miyako really kill the piano the long version of 'swan song'. all live . we the lovebitten will keep you very busy.
Among all the other beautiful assets this awesome song has to offer I somehow particularly like Miyako's gorgeous backing vocals during the chorus 🥰
More Lovebites!!!
Girl power love 💓 it 🤘🏽
This is one of my favorite reactions on TH-cam. The band is amazing and you captured your emotions and your thoughts perfectly. Well done and do more Lovebites please! Greetings from Greece!
Great reaction guys a little bit of trivia thier logo is the wolf it appears on all of the art work on their EP'S and Albums covers
I think this song is my favorite by Lovebites.
Subscribed in the name of Lovebites! Haven't seen this posted - a totally different first time experience
when you can follow the lyrics clearly (startin' when the guitars kick in):
Memories I can't erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won't become a doll you control
I'm losing sight of me
I'm losing sight of you
I'm losing sanity and I don't know how I will go on
Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth
Rendezvous, without emotion or heart
I won't show how weak and sad I am inside
Even though I know it's just silly pride
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I'm waiting for the dawn
I'm waiting for the time
I'm waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on
Memories I can't erase still haunting me
Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes
Falling down
Breaking heart
A growing addiction
Empty room
Endless rain
The end of a daydream
Just let me go away
Just let me go my way
Just let me go, I won't become a doll you control
I'm losing sight of me
I'm losing sight of you
I'm losing sanity and I don't know how I will...
You never call my name
You never feel the same
You never make me feel like I deserve any love
I'm waiting for the dawn
I'm waiting for the time
I'm waiting for my bleeding heart to heal,
so I can go on
So nice you appreciate them 😊 they are so talented ! Many other titles from their 2020 live in Tokyo.
《swan song》live piano solo version please!😉
The entire band is PHENOMENAL, and the Midori & Miyako show are the BEST One - Two punch in modern Metal today!!!~ They're on another plane of existence!
Just FYI, Miyako has a BA in Music Education on the Piano. She has 26 years of classical piano training as a concert pianist. Her primary instrument is the piano.
Love LoveBites hell yeah
Lovebites - Thunder Vengance Live 2020
Love you guys. You guys are a joy to watch. Please do Rising and Swan Song which will blow your mind. Thank you!
Soooo many better songs to have chosen. Holy War for one.
I so hope these ladies can break the international barrier, I have a feeling that they will go very far if they do. It's not easy for Asian bands to do that, but a few have such as Chthonic, and Crossfaith so it's not impossible.
"Thunder Vengeance" ←opening song for this stage
"Holy War"
"Swan Song (MIYAKO-Piano Solo (Revolutionary Etude) Swan Song)"
🤘Plz react
Midori , i am in love with her talent, even before her looks, which aren't to shabby. : )
Funny you watched one of the softest songs they ever made! ;)
Midoris and Miyakos guitar synch is sick. And it is there in most songs. I prefer the thrash tracks, but they can really do beautiful songs too. Honestly this is not my favourite, because its a bit too much "singalong" =D Even the less good songs are good, since they have not made a bad song...
To me, the best of this one, is the soft beginning
This is definitely one of their more subdued songs. Most of their other songs have more power & energy in them.
Thunder Vengeance period!
In case you haven't heard of these other ones, i highly recommend you check out DOLL$BOX, Aldious, and Nemophila, All female bands from Japan. You WILL love them all!
Don't forget Mary's Blood!
Lovebites edge of the world guy's please
Try Holy War live, or if you want another great piano intro try Lovebites MIYAKO-Piano Solo (Revolutionary Etude) Swan Song.
The Japanese are a people that don't do anything by halves. For the vast majority of them, whatever they do, they put their heart and all their effort into it.
More lovebites.......
Yeah, Lovebites is amazing!
Just pick any song from their new Blu-ray "Five of a kind" live 2020. Can't go wrong....🤘🏼
Great reaction!! Now their song "Shadowmaker" official video for ultimate shredding dual guitars and kickass song as well.
Next..golden destination 🙏
I really like both of you looking the video with the mouth open, really funny. Anyway these ladys are faboulos. You must try Epilogue, sure you will stay with your mouth big open !
Yall need to check out there song Glory to the World. It blows this song out the water.
You can tell they put in the work. Amazing band. Little Nightwish vibe going on?
OMG!!!

The guitars are playing Dr. Wily's theme from Megaman 2, aren't they?
Don't stop the music.
This is 80s Japanese city pop +METAL👍🇯🇵😆
Miyakoがinterviewで「Michael Jackson,、Dream Theater、昭和歌謡に対してRespectを込めて作った」と語ってました。もはや天才ですね。こういう曲も楽しめるのでLOVEBITESは好きです。
God, I love this band.
