In 40 years of listening to metal I can't remember ever seeing a dual solo so well synchronized before. And for such a long time! And the high 5 after is kind of gorgeous, I think :-) Brilliant band!

It's amazing that these were the last two songs in a full length concert. To carry that much energy to the end is incredible. This is easily my favourite band in decades and for me, the best, most enjoyable band around right now. I always love seeing you guys react to them.

Great reaction. LOVEBITES Beautiful Goddess, love it. 13:01 when I first heard this song We the United from Clockwork CD. I had Goosebumps, so good. CHEERS
I swear whatever gene pool these ladies musical talents came from has to mapped and shared!!! They blasted through that 1st epic song and then upped the gear with not so much as a real break into that second song. I have seen some exceptional musicians in my day especially guitarists (Hendrix, Santana, Vaughan, Allman, Kath, Young, etc...) and I am telling you these two, Midori (Flash and Shred) and Miyako (Techie, Tones and Harmonics) are easily in that same league and as a duo I am not sure there is anything close at least not today and going back I can't seem to think of any (Betz and Allman were great but this, this is a whole other level). Great reaction as always, I am exhausted just watching this video. This band LIVE will give you the same result as the old AC/DC concerts in their prime (Deaf for hours, Speechless for days and Exhausted for weeks). Simply the best LIVE power metal band playing today!!!
Well met, fellow old-timer. Never saw Hendrix or Allman live, but I saw Santana, SRV, Jeff Beck, Purple, Sabbath, Zeppelin and lots of others in the day. I agree, M&M are clearly in the top league (I also had Allman and Betts come to mind, as well as Allman and Claption, but agree M&M are at another level). Maiden and Priest set the standard, but M&M, in my view, have even surpassed that. Also, we shouldn't forget the back line. Miho and Haruna bring the thunder like no others in decades, maybe back to Zeppelin, and Haruna giggles while doing it. Crazy.
@@hiawatha.g Miho and Haruna not only founded this group but they drive them with that wicked back-line. They may not get to shine like the front 3 but without them this band wouldn't be half as good especially LIVE. When you see Haruna out from behind these drums you have to be shocked she generates this much power for an entire show, I compare her to Kai(Nightwish/Wintersun) half the size yet the same power and presence. That dynamic duo drops sounds from all of the greats you mentioned as well as Gary Moore and even some Alvin Lee, these women bring back memories of those greats especially with their LIVE playing talents. A real loss for all those who still haven't discovered this great band even with YT.
And they are beautiful as well. I am 69 and I have heard and seen a lot of guitar greats and drummers as well. Saw a band in the early seventies by the name of Spirit. Randy California was the lead guitar and a bald drummer who played a drum solo with a towel!
We all love Lovebites. We the united!! Thank you so much for awesome reaction again. Lovebites deserve to get great reaction and applause. Still hope many many song from Lovebites get reaction on this channel.
Poor little Princess Haruna. Didn't get even the smallest of breaks between those two songs. All that double kick on the kit, and at the end of a 2 hour show too. It's funny though. Did you see at the very end, she is hardly any taller standing up, than she is sitting down. Beautiful. I'm jealous of the lucky people that grabbed those sticks when she threw them into the crowd
These ladies are neck and neck with the Kami Band (Babymetal). What wonderful metal musicians come from Japan. Like Finland but in Asia. Outstanding reaction! Thanks guys!
there´s a connection between lovebites and finland: did you know, that their albums were mixed at helsinki/finnvox studios by the same people, that do that for nightwish, amorphis, children of bodom etc. ?

Hello Wolf, Great. Great reaction, Lovebites is impressive, haruna impressive drummer, miyako impressive pianist , keyboardist, guitarist, within my favorite bands, react to Eagle Fly Free. Amazing cover, greetings from Chile 🇨🇱 , God bless you
Been watching your reactions for a while now. Love the enjoyment you get from watching other bands and the respect you express where it is due. You are both fun, genuine folks. Mmmmmmore reactions please.
You just need one more song to listen to cement Lovebites as the best band on the planet right now ... their cover of Helloween - Eagle Fly Free ... they all have a solo and vocals are just out of this world. And you can hear her having a different accent than she intentionally does in most songs. If they continue this path in 10 years they will definitely be among the best bands that ever existed. To me they already are. Such talent, musicianship and class.
You know when someone is absolutely enjoying this performance aside from the ever increasing cheshire cat smile Suzi's eyes were sparkling like crazy ( very noticable I may add)! The whole concert was amazing when I watched it being streamed live with the band watching also, however this ending just blew me away!! Very rare to see twin leads harmonising and in sync, the closest I have seen was Saxon live in the '80s. Lovebites are a fantastic band and I am not surprised they are well liked in the UK as everything they play is akin to what I listened to in the 80s from the UK!! Great reaction guys nearly as good as mine 😉😎🤟

ARIGATO for the nice reaction!! LOVEBITES is amazing band. They are all talented musicians. HARUNA(drums) and MIHO(bass) were the other band member at 2015. The other band was named DESTROSE. DESTROSE is "the GREAT MOTHER" of LOVEBITES, MARY'S BLOOD, FATE GEAR, DISQUALIA, and MARDELAS. The sound of DESTROSE is so strong and dramatic. Especially high-tone vocalist MARINA was so powerful. HARUNA and MIHO were so cute and so powerful too. Please watch "2013.11.14 DESTROSE ONE-MAN LIVE". I like the opening song "MAZE" and "HEADLESS GODDESS". "RIN" is the best live performance!! --- AND --- "NOSTPHILIA"(MV), "FENIXX"(MV), "RIN"(MV), "MAZE"(MV) are awesome.
I wished they would do way more stuff like this instead the full power 100% power metal with no change of tempo at all. Here Asamis voice shows way more or what she can and also of course the piano is great. One of my favorites after "Epilogue" together with "Empty Daydreams" and "Frozen Serenade". Oh and "Swan Song" for the piano parts alone 😃
@Aratha Sena Already heared that and its quite nice. But in the end i really like this stuff thats start slow and quiet and then builds up more and more to full power. Or starting with full power but then fall down to some quiet moments and build up again. But thats maybe why i was always a "symphonic" rock, metal whatever fan starting with Yes and Genesis back in the 70s and then switching to Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica and so on in the late 90s till now😄
You have probably learned all of this already, but here goes: Bassist, Miho (Band Leader); Midori, lead guitar; Haruna, Drums; Miyako, 2nd Guitar and Keyboards; I believe they all do backing vocals; and Asumi, Lead Vocals. These ladies are all magnificent in their positions. Side note: Miyako is a classically trained concert pianist, which you could probably have figured out by her choice of music to play... Y'all have only just touched the surface, I can't wait to see you dive deeper. Keep on giving the great reactions. OOPS! I wasn't sure that Asumi played an instrument but, well, there you have it... piano for her too!
Cool bassist Miho and powerhouse drummer Haruna met in former group Destrose, which went through a lotta people. They started the gathering of the other awesome members that became Lovebites. If you'd like to see and hear what the remnants of Destrose became, look up Fate Gear, another all woman metal band, with a steampunk theme. They still perform some of the old Destrose tunes, which were pretty good.
And now you MUST watch the latest release, “Winds of Transylvania”. It’s used on a new Anime’ series called “Vlad Love” which features heavily in the MV. I promise you they take it to the next level...if that’s actually possible.
"Five of a Kind" really resembles who they are extremely talented and awesome showmanship, that show was about two hours long with a total of 19 songs of pure awesomeness.
So annoying that the tour has been delayed but safety has to come first. As I remarked on a Band Maid reaction, you need to see Lovebites and Band Maid before they get to stadium level of success, in my view. The intimacy of a smaller venue with this level of musicianship is a wonderful thing. Who wants a 5 yard gap to the front of the stage with security wandering up and down? I see the earlier Band Maid, shows and wish I could invent a time machine. Lovebites will soon be out of reach for smaller venues, which is a shame but they deserve the success.
Suzie, just had to mention this: the Bassist is Miho, she and Haruna the Drummer, are the original founders of this band. Unfortunately in 2021, I believe, she decided to resign from the band and this past year LoveBites has been auditioning replacement bassists. They are open calls to anyone that plays bass, regardless of any other factor. I will miss Miho for her red hair and head banging; and especially for her talent. Y'all keep reacting. Don't miss out on Gacharic Spin, those girls are CRAZY!
Has anyone else noticed that We The United is loosely based on Pachelbel's Canon? I mean, Miyako wrote the song, so of course it has classical influences in it. Listen to the guitar solo between 13:42 and 14:07 and tell me Miyako didn't have Canon in mind when she wrote that :-)
That is a good point. If not Canon in D, then one of many Baroque compositions with similar structures. They say classical music was just an early form of Metal, and I believe it.
Mao wrote the music but guitar solos tend to not be credited. The booklet says music by Mao and lyrics by Asami even though the solo was most likely Miyako's idea.
Arigatou gozaimazu! This was Amazing 👍🤘😎🤘 Great reaction ! Perhaps you'll Check out their Halloween Cover "Eagle fly free " (Studio live!!) 😉 Thank's and stay save
@@CDMS_pt watch how she walks, and in the Daughters of the Dawn video you see them clear as day at the end. Perhaps she slips them on for the applause.
Are you sure she’s only 5’3”?! In pictures she towers over the other band members. So Haruna, Asami, and Midori, in particular, must be like 5’ tall or less then. 😯
@@DomainObject Yep. From everything I've seen that's correct. Haruna is like 4'10". You can see a vid where Asami is onstage with Halestorm. She looks tiny and I think Lzzy is 5'8".
The only reason she looks so tall is that the other girls are so tiny. Haruna is a mere 4' 9" and Asami, in flat contrast to her gigantic stage presence, clocks in around 4' 10" without her heels on.
Love this band. They always give me major X Japan vibes. If they haven't been suggested before, I'll do it now. Kurunai is a good start I think. I would prefer Art of Life, but it's rather long. :p
@Hiawatha, thank YOU for promoting this 'reaction'! What a double-play! I am indebted to you and "hiu fernando" for your successes in getting 'reactors' to promote LOVEBITES. LOVEBITES - Edge Of The World lyrics:
Why do we learn to hate, deceive and lie, hurt each other?
Why does it never end? The sorrow keeps on repeating
Wailing, come downpours of the rain
Will it end? No one ever knows
Wondering, what only time can tell
What is at the end of life?
Why do we only see our own desires? Greed is endless
Why is there authority when there is no justice in their rulings
Struggling like feeble, helpless fools
Will it end? No one ever knows
Wandering, not knowing where to go
Carrying the breath of life
Standing at… The Edge of the World
As long as you're still alive, remember
- don't fear standing up, don't ever give it up
Until the day you meet your end, it's not over
- let your soul shine inside of your heart
As long as you're still alive, remember
- keep your dignity, stay true to who you are
Until the day you meet your end, it's not over
- let your heart love and always be loved
How you live will always live on
As your way of life, forever
How you live will always live on
As your way of life, forever
How you live will always live on
As your way of life, forever

LOVEBITES - We The United lyrics:
The silent dawn has been broken
Our fate has now been decided for good
Innocence can never be regained
Blissful ignorance turns into guilt and shame
We must first learn to give and understand
That no one is able to live alone
There is no need to be perfect
Everyone has their own problems and faults
Everything is indispensable,
Every person is worthy and valuable
Don’t give up on your life, fight for what’s right
Live on and keep searching for answers
We shall go forth
Prideful, we stand united
We can create miracles
Always, there is a way
Humans are greedy and selfish
Wanting attention more than the respect
Recognize the pain that others hide
Have the strength to fight even for someone else
People who’ve never made real enemies
Have never stood up for what they believe
We shall go forth
Prideful, we stand united
We can create miracles
Always, there is a way
Always, I will be here
Always, we will be there
That fist bump….and Mayako smiles. BRILLIANT!

I wasn't sure that Asumi played an instrument but, well, there you have it... piano for her too!
Haruna I believe starts at 90mph and hits 212 on occasions....
Great reaction May you have good health and good luck. From Japan
And now you MUST watch the latest release, “Winds of Transylvania”. It’s used on a new Anime’ series called “Vlad Love” which features heavily in the MV. I promise you they take it to the next level...if that’s actually possible.
Really HAPPY metal show!! 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘😆 Your reaction also!! PEACE!! 🙌🙌
"Five of a Kind" really resembles who they are extremely talented and awesome showmanship, that show was about two hours long with a total of 19 songs of pure awesomeness.
Amazing reaction!!! I moved so much!
This is a masterpiece. The whole band are amazing. ❤❤❤❤ Haruna ❤❤❤❤
INSANE🎙 LoveBites👄 is so ill🤘
@@hiawatha.g Beethoven is widely considered to be the most "metal" of the composers around in his day ...
Mao wrote the music but guitar solos tend to not be credited. The booklet says music by Mao and lyrics by Asami even though the solo was most likely Miyako's idea.
Funny how Midori and Miyako ware their hair like samurais ready for battle!
And in the end the audience are getting their own Pick of Destiny! :)
Arigatou gozaimazu! This was Amazing 👍🤘😎🤘 Great reaction ! Perhaps you'll Check out their Halloween Cover "Eagle fly free " (Studio live!!) 😉 Thank's and stay save
Miyako has a piano covers EP coming out very soon! She covers one of her own band's songs, as well as "Battery" by METALLICA (and some others)
That's a lot to unpack there, where do I begin? Ohh right I don't cuz I'm not Worthy!
I am...Japanese 😲
Icannot English 😰💦
Nobody seems to notice... but Haruna, the drummer, wears high heels!
Or in her case... stilts!
@@michaelafrancis1361 😂😂😂🤟
No. She wears a pair of pink sneakers.
@@CDMS_pt watch how she walks, and in the Daughters of the Dawn video you see them clear as day at the end. Perhaps she slips them on for the applause.
@@alekhidell She wears the sneakers only when playing drums.
No Time To Hesitate
Love them
TOTALMENTE IMPRESIONANTE
You should see the look in your faces. Great reaction mam
Listen to "Burden of Time" Miyako takes a page out of Eddie Van Halen's book. You know it when you see it, trust me you'll love it.
That smile from Haruna 🤩
These 2 songs were the encore. Holy War was the last song of the main set
Epic and amazing. Funny how Miyako looks so tall at the end and she's 5'3".
@@DomainObject Harun, the shortest, is around 4'9" ~ 4'10".
@@fastskipper777 @voldrani Whoa 😮. They’re tiny.
The only reason she looks so tall is that the other girls are so tiny. Haruna is a mere 4' 9" and Asami, in flat contrast to her gigantic stage presence, clocks in around 4' 10" without her heels on.
最高~で~す🎵 楽しい~(*⌒―⌒*)oにこっ♪ SO Good
Love this band. They always give me major X Japan vibes. If they haven't been suggested before, I'll do it now. Kurunai is a good start I think. I would prefer Art of Life, but it's rather long. :p
Nice reaction guys! Next one please react to 《under the red sky》live👍
