I have no issue with Tessa and Scott having won the Olympics. They earned it. But Meryl and Charlie should have won here. They did win the free dance but only barely and it wasn’t enough to win overall. This was an absolutely outstanding performance and Tessa and Scott just weren’t as sharp in the free this time. They were overscored in the free dance, in my opinion. Oh well.
This was truly a fantastic performance by Meryl and Charlie. Do I love Tessa and Scot, YES!!!!! But this performance should have earned D/W the GOLD!!! This announcer really gets me. He always praises Charlie but never Meryl. And I just love watching both but especially Meryl. She has it all - grace, beauty, athleticism, heart, strength, power!!!! THEY WERE ROBBED!!!! I've seen the two performances and I always come away by saying - it should have been Meryl and Charlie. Did anyone notice the bruise on Meryl's anterior aspect of her right leg!!!
MsDottie09 These guys always comment when they like the guys: Charlie, Andrew Poje, Guillaume Cizeron. Can't remember any special praise for a woman. Interestingly, although they proclaim their loyalty to Virtue/Moir they never rave about Scott's skating. ?????
+SALLY SCHUR Because Nicky is so fixated on Tessa. lol! I actually think Scott is the better skater. Tessa's posture is TOO rigid, imo, especially during her twizzles.

Everyone else in the audience is quiet. Just had to bring that out to you. I don't know if Meryl was hurried but she did not give a hug to Marina or Igor which is unusual after their performances.

Yes, Scott arguably has the best skating skills of any modern skater in any discipline.
